Jay, you can't say "A child away at school", "School children" would have been okay.

Some great clues there. I've emphasized those I think are fantastic!

I was thinking that might not be permissible. School children would be too general though, I meant as in a college student that is living in the dorms and not at home.

If this has been talked about before please forgive me.

Since Pyramid has come back  how come none of the Celbs have given the clues during the bonus round? Are they not as smart as the celbs in the past?

During the Dick Clark version, about 95 % of the celbs gave the clues.

I think Rosie O'Donnell gave the clues in a Season 1 Winner's Circle, during that season's finale, but for the vast majority of them, the contestants have given the clues.

My guess is that the contestants spend a lot more time preparing for the game, and in order for them to have a good shot at winning $50,000 or $100,000, it's to their advantage to give clues to the celebrity who likely isn't as prepared. At least on my appearance two years ago, we contestants always gave clues in our run-throughs of the Winner's Circle.

Back then, when the game was on the air on a more frequent basis and there were more seasoned celebrity game players (like Nipsey Russell, Billy Crystal, Betty White, Henry Polic II, to name a few), it made sense to let the celebrities give most of the time. Today, not so much.

How was it to be on the Pyramid? How much did you win and did you win the Mystery 7? How did it fell to meet two stars?

It was an absolute dream come true for me. I was on the Season 4 premiere with Rosie O'Donnell and Leslie Jones, which aired on June 9, 2019. I won $50,000 and the Mystery 7, a Disney Cruise to the Bahamas. I chronicled my appearance in the Season 4 thread, and a clip of my Winner's Circle is available on YouTube.

On the June 30th episode: No $100K tries this evening and only one $50K win. And I really can do without all of the intentionally suggestive subjects/categories in the maingame.

Nevertheless I liked Dante. He was a very good player with a great personality. Two quick exclamations from me of “Yes! Five Thousand!” and “Yes!” during his Winner’s Circle Round after the two quick gets of Things You Deserve (great clues there) and Things You Bounce. But would Michael Strahan’s clue of “Santa’s list” for Things That Are Naughty have been buzzed? Is it leading? It’s not the list itself that is naughty. I would have said “Santa’s listed children”. [Perhaps a related note: I remember seeing Stuart Pankin's clue of "a panty dorm" being buzzed for Things That Are Raided. Dick Clark asked Pankin something like "What is a panty dorm?" :-))

Congratulations to Melissa on her $50K win. She was another very good player. Excellent clue for “danger”: Rodney (blank)field. And in her Winner’s Circle round: Superb clues for Things That Put You To Sleep (“soft music”, “melatonin”) and Types of Tubes (“test ones”, “inner ones”) even before her clincher, “a scientist’s test ones”. And she really went old school with “Vanna White’s letters” for Things That Turn. It’s been decades, but it worked.

For “plus”??: Not minus but…

How about “a licked envelope” for Things That Are Sealed? And I immediately thought of “the third pig’s house” for Things Made Of Bricks and “a woman’s period” for Things That Are Monthly. If needed I would have also mentioned the bills. Things With A Zipper? How about "a man's fly"?

Snowman: Carrot Nose, Coal eyes, Scarf, Top hat
Bounce: Bad check, Rubber ball, Basketball, Inflatable party house
Airlines: JetBlue, Southwest, Delta
Sleep: Tranquilizer, Melatonin, Counting sheep
Night: Sleep, A date, 11:00 news
Bricks: Third pigs house, Chimney, Oz's yellow road
Boxers: Mohammad Ali, George Foreman, Mike Tyson
Monthly: Rent, Bills, Magazines

Total cash won: $81,500 Season Total:$652,000
2nd straight show with the $100,000 not played for, try again next time.
Lorraine and Paige are likely to not return.
For "plus", all Rosie had to do was say, "opposite minus"
Rosie couldn't get it together in the 2nd half

It was "Things You Pick". I immediately thought of "Your nose" and "Your Teeth".
