Whose Line on the Price is Right
« on: June 15, 2021, 05:03:35 PM »
For those of you who are Whose Line Is It Anyway fans like myself, if you remember once Rich stepped down, and TPiR did another announcer search, two comics from WLIIA made appearances in Jeff Davis and Brad Sherwood. Who do you guys think was the better of the two? And I wonder why they don't involve TPiR bits in the skits of WLIIA?

I think that Greg Proops would be a great guest announcer or guest host.

I think that would be a good idea, but I think Jeff Davis brought a decent bit of excitement to the announcing gig.

sorry to be off topic here, but kinda on topic: do you think that Art Fleming would've been a great host for TPiR?

Yes, I would actually.

Jeff Davis did much better than Brad Sherwood in his announcing stint, I remember Brad announcing like he was impersonating a stereotypical game show announcer and it sounded terrible.

Because WLIIA wasn't on the air during the announcer search.

I don't think you are sorry.  I think you felt like hearing your own voice whether it made sense or not.

For the record, it didn't.

Second that. I went to a couple of Jeff Davis tapings and I thought he did a great job. Brad, however, was a joke.
