A good showing today with 5 out of 6 pricing games won. Surprised about That's Too Much, I thought he should've gone maybe one more.

Amazing win in Temptation! :-) How long has it been? And what did you think about Drew allowing the contestant to reveal each of the actual price digits one by one? That was different, and I kinda liked it. I can’t imagine Bob ever allowing it, but of course we are still in the physical distancing era of Price.

$21,500 in Plinko. Very nice. Happy for the contestant, but so much audible screaming (not her fault).

Great win in That’s Too Much!

Second Showcase question: Is a “travel trailer” a “luxury RV”?  And wow was Drew’s sign-off jarringly edited.

I can't imagine Bob letting anyone near those button.  However, he actually has several times in the past.  Just one number though (and usually off of a win).  Definitely not all of them; it would ruin his act of stalling for suspense.

The screaming is what it is.  I get super excited for $1,500, let alone $20K more.  While I have at least much more than $1,500, it's the winning and reward that adds to the joy & excitement

Punch a Bunch and Temptation both won within a week of each other?! (Yes, I know these wins weren't originally scheduled to air this close together.) Those were the two games that had had the longest time since they were last won. That distinction now moves to Hot Seat, which hasn't been won since 3/29/19. I wouldn't be surprised if that ends up being won sometime this week .

I don't mind the screaming itself. But hearing all of it because the contestants are wearing mics, that does bother me sometimes.

And wow was Drew’s sign-off jarringly edited.

Yeah, I wonder why they decided to start editing out a lot of Drew's mentions of masks? I'm catching up on episodes now (going in reverse order) and I see they've been doing it since early April, possibly sooner. I wonder how he feels about that, if he knows. Today's was one of the more awkward ones.

Temptation and That's Too Much! won in the same show. Amazing.

Wow, finally a Temptation win! Punch a Bunch last week, and now Temptation finally breaks its streak. Pretty generous setup IMO, 5 or 3 for the 4th digit was the toughest choice.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned this, but they actually used a cue from the 1972 music package for the keyboard that was up for bids. I think the last time the show used old music cues from the 1970s or 1980s was on the Throwback Thursday show from Socially Awesome Week in season 45.

Well, this episode was certainly worth the wait.  From Temptation finally being won to the huge Plinko win to That's Too Much! being won (which, while hardly as rare as Temptation, is still plenty exciting), it seemed like they were giving away practically everything on this show.

Between Temptation being played and Plinko taking as long as possible, I was really surprised they left in the all-overbid from the third IUFB.

It's so nice to hear a few classic cues trickling in...and they were even used in places that made sense today!

It actually didn't start until late May, right after the CDC began easing restrictions for the fully vaccinated.  I'm sure this one would have aired intact if they'd run it in March.

When was this episode supposed to air, and why was it delayed? It looks like it was meant to air on a Friday since the number ends in 5. Maybe they edited out Drew saying "Have a nice weekend"?

The Grammies were moved, and there was a SC on 9285K about the Grammies, so they bumped this episode.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...
