New Pricing Game idea: LABYRINTH
« on: July 19, 2021, 10:14:29 AM »
You know those wooden boards where you navigate a ball along a path in order to reach the goal while avoiding holes? Well, this idea is a cool way to inspire this, plus by bringing back a spiritual revival of the '70s show The Moneymaze. A cash/fee game, this game starts off with three SPs, where a price is revealed. Similar to Five Price Tags, this is mostly a True/False game. One extra dimension in this game is that for the GPs that are false, the contestant must then decide if the ARP is higher or lower. Each correct answer covers up a hole in the Labyrinth board, which will make it easier for the contestant to navigate the ball along the board, where the contestant stands on a platform similar to Plinko. If the contestant guess both the "False" and "Higher/Lower" questions correctly, s/he can select two holes to cover up. The board is approximately 10 feet by 10 feet by 3 feet, and consists of ten holes, ranging in value from $0 to $10,000, with reaching the goal at the end worth the top prize of $25,000. The hole values gradually increase in value from $500, $1000, $2000, $3000, $4000, $5000, and $10,000. However, the final hole before the $25,000 is another $0, and cannot be chosen regarding a contestant's choice for any holes they've won.

Keep in mind that Le Juste Prix's Le Labyrinthe has a similar version that exists, but I'd prefer the more mechanical feel that encompasses more of a classic feel without a clock so that a contestant can concentrate without the pressures of time (where easy editing can be held if the player takes his/her time).
