Hopefully, not. But if tapings get suspended, they have to do what they have to do.

Omicron is spreading fast, but Delta remains dominant.

Ever since the covid plague hit, I've been trying to get tickets.
The way things are going now and with all the panic setting in, I'll be lucky to if the audience goes back to full capacity next season.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did suspend tapings.  Here in New York, Broadway show are getting cancelled and some are even stopping production.

It might depend on whether it's determined that the omicron variant is indeed overall milder than the delta variant, as current evidence would appear to suggest.  If this indeed turns out to be the case, they may not need to go to a full shutdown, at least for a long period, although I would understand if they'd wish to play it safe regardless.
