^Actually, it's his brother Nick Carter that's known for being a Backstreet Boys band member. Aaron had his own music career in the early 2000s with songs such as "Aaron's Party (Come Get It)." Still sad to hear, nonetheless.

And they had a sister die young, too: Leslie. I remember Aaron being everywhere in the early 2000s. Hearing about his family’s troubles after the fact, this is a tough pill to swallow. RIP, Aaron.

Coy Gibbs, son of the legendary Joe Gibbs and father of yesterday's NASCAR Xfinity Champion Ty Gibbs passed away last night at age 49. So so sad. Joe has now lost both of his sons (J. D. passed away in 2019)

Aaron Carter a member of the Backstreet Boys, age 34 after drowning in a bathtub.

Wasn't a member; he was the brother of member Nick Carter.

Norm Blumenthal, producer of the original Concentration and rebus puzzle creator for many of its home adaptations by Milton Bradley passed away at age 97 on September 23. His obituary is here.

Many years ago, I saw a great documentary about the original Concentration on Vimeo, "Thanks for Playing Concentration" and the interview segments with Norm were fascinating to watch. I own the 23rd edition of Concentration from Milton Bradley, and his rebuses still hold up to playability in 2022.

Without his great producing work and rebus puzzles, the Narz era of the show and Classic Concentration with Alex Trebek wouldn't have happened.

Rest in peace, Norm.

Unfortunately, the paywalled version is the only one that exists so far.

That one hurts. I grew up on the original Concentration and always attempted to copy the puzzles on a blackboard mom and dad got me. Saw the Vimeo feature as well. Loved his confrontation with Lin Bolen.

Happily, here's a version of the obituary that's not behind a paywall.
