Game Show Gaffes

(1/3) > >>

rn:
On today's $100,000 Pyramid rerun (Tournament episode with Henry Polic), Dick Clark was announcing the categories for the round 2 pyramid and a member of the production staff just happened to be walking by.  Havs there ever been any game show gaffes that made it past editing aside from this?

GameShowFan1987:
On Family Feud's "The Price is Right vs The Young and the Restless" week in 1993, they used the Price light border while introducing the Price team and you can see the silhouette of someone walking through the shot. It's there on all 5 shows because they used the same intro all week.

mechamind:
Not exactly visual, but there was at least one New Year's themed episode in the 90's where a balloon burst during a spin. One time in the modern era, a light could be heard exploding in 2014 during the Bonus Round.

There was a Season 15 game where a stagehand could be seen in one shot.

(Funny enough, there was one time that the old video wall behind the contestants froze without affecting gameplay, but it did not make it past editing. You'd think they'd overlook this or acknowledge an exploding light.)

What game show are you talking about?

mechamind:
Oh, wow. Of course I would forget to post that it's about Wheel of Fortune. I must be distracted today.
