1505880687198539781[/tweet]]To celebrate 50 years of TPIR, the show is taking a road trip.

This should be neat and interesting, especially for those that can't get to Los Angeles, as mentioned

They've been doing this for years, it's called The Price is Right Live.

I'm aware that it isn't the actual show going around the country.  This seemed as a more expansive version than the usual TPIR live shows they've done over the years.  That's my mistake if they've actually travelled the country before in the past; but other than Vegas and a couple other big cities, I haven't seen it promoted all over the place

The link on the CBS site is broken, but the PR release has a few cities and dates:

Los Angeles, CA Friday, March 25
Denver, CO Friday, April 1
Dallas, TX Thursday, April 7
New Orleans, LA Friday, April 15
Nashville, TN Friday, April 22
St. Louis, MO Thursday, April 28
Cleveland, OH Friday, May 6
New York, NY Wednesday, May 18

There will be 50 stops for 50 years.

Password looks like any idiot could have made it up, but we have 14 of our people working on that show. There is a great complexity behind the screen. It requires great work to keep it simple."

Im hoping they make their way north to Washington! Maybe Spokane or Seattle. Should be interesting it sounds like!
There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

A few months ago, in the "never gonna happen" thread, I said that we'll probably never see another TPiR roadshow again, based on what a logistical nightmare the 30th Anniversary Special from Vegas was.

As long as they make a stop near me in Pittsburgh*, I'll happily eat my words.

*yes, Cleveland is confirmed, which is a relatively short drive away, but no self-respecting Pittsburgher ever willingly goes to Cleveland...

Is there going to be one show in every state, or just about every state (Hawaii would be difficult)? Would be awesome to see it in New Jersey, though at least there will be a NYC show I see.

I'm sure there will be a Philadelphia one, too.

Sorry for second post as Modify time expired.

Why they are making apparently a lame effort to outdo what the Live! Show is doing is crap.  Sorry.  People get rallied up by both Bob and Jim and each other enough that a car show like tour might be neat but not needed.

Maybe theyre doing this as a way to audition/search for possibles.
