I was a little surprised there was no mention of Cinco de Mayo in the showcases, especially as the episode pretty much had to air today because of the plug for tomorrow's Mother's Day show. Then again, I remember when the 2015 "Cinco de Mayo episode" had to be delayed until August because one of the showcases had a trip to Nepal right after a major earthquake hit the area.

Meh.  I wasn't surprised, just saddened a little bit.  Probably not too ideal to have it, especially for similar reasons why they delayed it seven years ago.

What was surprising, IMO, was Elizabeth's guess for the 5th digit.  Not an easy Lucky Seven price to work with & she didn't do too bad.  At least it wasn't a 5.

Showcase winner Phillip had to settle for $1,000, which is still a nice get in 2022.  Not much you can do, and I'm glad it wasn't after giving up $2,500 or $5,000 early either.  Punch a Bunch can be cruel despite perfect pricing, but it's still fairly easy to leave with something substantial
