Yay Norva! She and her friend (the one who really wanted to get picked) were buddies with us the whole time, so it was good to see her win Safe Crackers and later get the dollar on the wheel.

I nailed Temptation... now if only Stacy had looked my way, it would have actually meant something. Sigh.

After Drew lost Coming or Going, I remember thinking, "Roger just offered you a boat on a silver platter, and you rejected it!"

About that dollar that Norva got. It's amazing how much the place explodes whenever the dollar is hit. It was especially loud this time, because of how close it was.

It hurt to see Norva go down in the Showcases. My bid was only $200 under hers, so I thought she had it nailed. After the show, though, she wasn't disappointed one bit. She was still in shock about what had happened, and said she was looking forward to her trip to Arizona. Camping equipment, tons of sunscreen, and $1,000 aren't too bad, either. :-)

HOTTIES: #294, Natalie; #295, Stacy; #296, Melanie :-D
BEST CONTESTANT OF THE DAY: Stacy... she was bouncing up and down in line the whole time, and I just knew she'd get picked
SHOW GRADE: 3... normally, I'd have probably given this show a 2, but being there changes things just a bit :-)

Open:  SHOOT THE TVS!  IT'S HEELS!

Safe Crackers:  Way too easy today.  Roger wanted that won.

Temptation:  I knew this was gonna be a trainwreck after the 2nd #.

Coming or Going:  This too was set up for a win.  WHAT??!???!?!  Drew......man, ya shouldn't have lost that one dude.

Overall:  Slightly better than yesterday's show, but still not up to par.

Most Expensive: that was a downer....i almost cried a bit

Opening: not bad, although when Bob walked through Door #2 i could feel tears welling up in my eyes already :-(
< loves it when Drew Carey attempts to make an inspiration putt, and when it misses the hole, he just does a little second putt with the ball to sink it

( as was in his 500th show) ROFL!!!

I've been busy again, but nearing the finale:

Safe Crackers!: Easy

Temptation: A bit hard only because it was a Mustang!

Coming or Going: Yeah, that was a stupid loss.

Plinko (Fourth!?): Alright!

Most Expensive: Another toughie.

Pass the Buck: just when did a player not get BOTH GP's right?  At least she left with $3000 :)

SC's: Ouch, another painful OVER, but thankfully not causing a DOB...

Later everyone.

Safe: Simple, $450 was so logical.

Temptation: Mustangs trip up, but the second number SHOULD NOT have been missed.

CoG: Hey we share the same name.  Just too bad he rejected that boat on a very easy playing.

ME: I fell for the dinnete and lost.

SC1: Only $23K?!  I thought $30,000 sounded better, which I went with.

Congrats heels on your trip!

There goes heels, bowing down to the one and only. I am sure he enjoyed his time in the audience. :-D
Now I know I saw Bartolomeo walking around in the line, but now I'm wondering if I also saw Eric.

Safe Crackers: For just sunscreen, I would probably set the safe to 450 myself, not that I need it anyways.

Barker's Last Temptation of Price: Possibly.
I was totally worried about Stacy's picks, especially her pick of 0 as the fourth number, 23500 is too rounded to be correct. At least she made only one good change. That $3553 cash bowl is TOO tempting for me to pass up.

One Bid 3: That rug was hung up there the whole time during yesterday's episode taping. I thought they might use that during that. Since they did not use it for the Showcases (since that was the last chance to do it) I figued they will use it in the next taping.

Coming or Going: That 95 was the kicker for me. I liked that better than 5934.

Plinko: I think Bob kinda spoiled it a little bit. But who wouldn't want a lot of cash for a prize? Kinda funny how Eric gave Lanisha a hug when Bob extended his hand for a shake.

Most Expensive: Since the exercise bike was in my opinion not going to be as high as that treadmill last week, I went for the dining group. Us Chicagoans made a bad choice.

One Bid 6: Now I'm beginning to wonder how dreadful it is to meet people in line like Natalie and Tyler, how they wait in line so long, only to end up banished to the House. Oh, well. At least they all had a chance to be in the popular studio.
In line, Willy and Josh were quizzing me on products and prizes like the Big Green Egg. I knew it was in the $900 range, like $940 or something. I'm sure they will ask me about this if the Egg was on the last show.

Pass the Buck: It was obvious to pass the buck to the Glad Press-n-Seal. I would not pay almost seven dollars for Downy or any kind of fabric softener. I would have picked 4 and would not get the Jeep.

Since the show is now 1 for 12 over the last two days I wonder if that's the worst/one of the worst losing streaks ever?

The gimmies (CoG, Temptation prizes) were blown and the other set ups were hard (PtB products, ME prizes)...kinda figured the final 10 shows might produce more winners.

Check the avatar... that'll tell you what I look like. I was in the third row, just to the right of Contestant's Row (from the camera's perspective).

Nice to see that Heels cropped his avatar just right to include the face of someone that I'm sure would be a Heels hottie.

I'm sure someone can come up with a stat for this, but how many times has Safe Crackers been played first in recent history?  It had to be a tight squeeze behind door #2 in the open, as you had the trip skin, the Safe Crackers prop, the Barker wall, and Bob himself.

I would have bailed in Temptation.

A beach bum from Purdue University?  NICE!! (for those who have absolutely no clue where that is, it's right in between Chicago and Indianapolis, in Indiana).

I have to say...Roger did not want three picks in Pass The Buck today.  Those picks were difficult.

And today's post is brought to you by the number 6.  Today is 6/6, and there are six shows until the final show.
They can be close at the top, too.

I was just so interested in seeing that guy being on the show. It wasn't until just earlier that I realize that it was Heels!   You know I was just so captivated by your ummm......... appearance.  Funny thing considering I'm a guy as well. Anyways......

My guess would be $450 as well.

Ahhhhh! Just like that. The second number is revealed and it's wrong. Though Mustangs don't cost too much.

Oh why did Drew not listen to the audience!     Even I knew it was $4395.

I wanted Drew to win the first showcase showdown.

Great that Eric knew the names of the beauties though a little bit mixed-up there resulting in him getting a mistake on the last SP. Nonetheless he won a decent amount of money. $12,000 to be exact. Another nice gesture giving Lanisha a hug there.

Ahhhhhh! Again!   I went for #3 as well. DAMN YOU ROGER!

Yay! Another fellow Pegger! The third one this season! Too bad she didn't do to well on the grocery products and getting only one number off the board. Luckily it was the money. $3,000.

Tough break for Norva there in the showcase. Going over on hers. I was really pulling for her.

Oh one more thing, Heels I think you looked pretty damn good there.  ;-)

Opening-Hey, one of those people in the audience looks familiar...:-P  Glad you had a great time, Heels.

Safe Crackers-A nice win to start the day.

Temptation-Always nice to see this game, especially when they're offering a fishbowl of MONEY! The moment she said 3 for the 2nd number, I knew she had lost. No way that Mustang would be $23,000. Seeing as how there was a larger than normal fishbowl of cash, I'm surprised she didn't bail.

Coming or Going-Looks like someone was playing with the prop before the game came out.  How in the world was this lost?? $5934 looked too odd of a price to be the right one.

Plinko-Woohoo, a $10K winner!

Most Expensive-That was hard.

Pass the Buck-Somehow I knew #1 would have the car.

Rich seemed tired today.  His introduction of Bob wasn't as strong as it normally is.  Also, the introduction of the first 4 contestants seemed a little weak as well.  Hope his voice is OK.

Also, thought it was really cool how the guy at the end said Bob's line.  I have never seen that before.

Also, the girl in the first row in the Iowa shirt was a total cutie :)
