That was great to see a Switcheroo win, something that doesn't seem like you see all that often. An $8,000 win in Pass the Buck is pretty good for not winning a car. Joshua should have picked the middle number for free in 2 for the Price of 1. For any future contestants reading this, that game always (that I can remember) has the last number in the three digit prize be 0 (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong), and the first number is usually pretty easy figure out, so those factors combined, you should always pick the middle number for free, no exceptions. It was also great to see each SCSD see a $1.00 spinner, even though Joshua was just inches away from $10,000 in his bonus spin.

Both Adam Sandlers were mentioned today!

When Gloria mentioned she was nervous about meeting a movie star, Drew quipped at the wheel “well, I was in Jack and Jill with Adam Sandler…”

And later in the showcases, the TV showed the woman with the “I Heart Adam (no not THAT Adam)” shirt riding a jet ski from the first taped episode.

Good thinking from Drew in Switcheroo. I wish players would think more about the pricing in that game.

Pass The Buck! One of my favorite games! More than one pick, and some suspense! Nice $8K win.

Recap posted. (Guess who had more car problems today, this person!)

As for the show, Luba clearly should have played Game 6 because of the lolz of sending a Montreal teacher to Montreal.

I am going to elaborate what happened during Shopping Spree that did not make it to air. To explain, I jave a friend who attended this taping, but he was in studio and not in the audience.  So game starts off well.  Drew explains the game.  Then the contestant says, I will pick the golf clubs as the least expensive prize.  Drew says stop tape.  A Crew member goes over the game with the contestant.  They retape the game.  She picks the golf clubs again.  Adam comes on the speaker and a 35 minute stop down occurs while standards and practices discuss what needs to occur.  They talk to Adam and decide to play the game all over from the beginning to make sure that the contestant never picks the golf clubs.  What you see on air is her winning rhe game, but in reality she did not.

I'm curious about how that works.  If the contestant is bound and determined to lose the game, why did they alter the outcome so she won?

It was ultimately the decision of standards and practices.  They did not want any future problems that could occur, so that is why the scenario played out.

My Show!!

Range Game:  So close yet so far! Just some luggage.

Switcher:  Nice win

Shopping Spree:  Drew made a mistake when he said pick the least expensive prize before her 2nd choice.  We did have a long stop down.  The contestant felt "guilty" about know the answer as everybody and their momma knew that the golf clubs were to be avoided.  She felt guilty about getting a "guaranteed win".  I TOTALLY respect that attitude, even though Adam and everyone else in the studio was ready to have puppies when she chose the golf clubs after the 1st stopdown.

TPTB said that they could not restart the game or sub it out because they already showed her the game and the prizes.

Pick a Number:  We ALL thought "Granny" as we called her had that kitchen set signed, sealed, delivered and won.  Ugh

2 for 1:  A hot, hot mess.  Lets leave it at that...hahahahaahahha

Showcase Showdown #2:  Another edit due to a flub.  Granny's 1st spin didn't make it all the way around BUT it was counted as a spin until Adam ran out doing his best "NFL Official Indicating An Incomplete Pass" impression.  For the record it landed on 95 cents by the way.

Showcases:  Hot mess Part 3 of the day.

$$ Spoiler here:  When a contestant wins a set of golf clubs, they are awarded 2 sets of golf clubs: 1 Men's Set and 1 Women's Set.  BUT only 1 set counts on their tax burden and Big Wheel Spinning Order.$$
