I'm still waiting on pathfinder20 to put in their bid. I'm new to this, so I don't know how much longer I should wait.

The general rule for HYO was to allow 24 hours after the previous bid. Then move along.

I sent pathfinder a PM a while ago to remind. If he still doesn't bid by this evening, I'll just continue with the show and only consider the three bids.

No response from pathfinder20, so it's on with the show!

*mrrp*

mungojerry311: I'm so sorry pathfinder20, you didn't put in a bid in time, so you don't have a chance to get up on stage. Just pay attention next time, alright?

Well, all the bids are in. Remember, the one of you who bid closest to the actual retail price of that washer and dryer without going over will win it and get to come up on stage with me to play a pricing game! Good luck to you three! The actual retail price of the washer and dryer is....

That washer and dryer is yours gamesurf! Come on up here!

*Walking 2007 cue plays as gamesurf excitedly comes up on stage and stands next to me.*

Welcome to the stage gamesurf! That washer and dryer is nice, but we've something for you that's even nicer. JohnnyBot, what have we got?

JohnnyBot: It's a chance to win up to.... $16,000 in cash!

*It's In The Bag cue plays*

mungojerry311: As you may have guessed by that cue, you're going to play It's In The Bag!

You see this table over here with the grocery bags? Each of the bags has a price on them, and each of those prices belong to one of the items on the cart over there.

(DianBot and JaniceBot are standing on either side of the cart)

Let's wait a bit while JohnnyBot describes these items for us.

JohnnyBot: Sure thing mj! We have a 26.5 oz box of Red Baron frozen pizza, a 25 oz bag of Tyson frozen chicken strips, a 30 oz jar of Duke's mayonnaise, a 9.25 oz bag of Doritos flavored tortilla chips, a 7 oz bottle of Williams shaving lotion, and an 84 oz bottle of Tide laundry detergent!

mungojerry311: Thank you JohnnyBot, you're making me hungry! Now, you will have noticed that there are five grocery bags on the table but six items on the cart. All you have to do is place those items above the correctly priced bags on the table. If you do so successfully, you'll be going home $16,000 richer! So, which items belong with which bag?

Hooray! I have a washer and dryer!

Uh… I’m really not sure about many of these, so that might be the ONLY thing I’ll win.

I think the Doritos are the cheapest, but would the cheapest product really be $5.49?

The infamous Tyson Chicken Strips of Death are around $11, but would they be the second or third bag? The only other thing jumping out at me that could be $10 is the lotion, but would it really be $14? I’m all sorts of overthinking this.

Let’s go

$5.49 - Doritos
$13.99 - Shaving Lotion
$10.79 - Chicken Strips
$8.99 - Detergent
$6.29 - Mayo

leaving the pizza as the spare.

Live for the present.  Embrace the future.  Our favorite game show is still producing excellent, high quality, exciting, hour-long* shows every weekday throughout its traditional season window.  It’s as good as it’s been in a long, long time.  If the 1980s were the ‘good ole days’ for the Barker era, so is RIGHT NOW for the Carey era.  Don’t worry about what the future holds.  It will play out in due time.  Enjoy what we have right in front of us in the meantime!

mungojerry311: OK, you've made your picks. Let's see how well you did!

Let's start with the first bag here. If those Doritos are in this bag, you will be at least $1,000 richer. What's in the bag?

*losing horns*

mungojerry311: Oh no! The mayo was in that bag, so you lose! We have a wipe-out to start the show! Oh well, let's see if you got any of the rest correct.

You placed the chicken strips correctly but the rest were wrong. Well gamesurf, I hope you had fun today and enjoy that washer and dryer, ok?

*gamesurf walks off stage as the TPIR theme plays*

What a bummer! We'll see if we can get ourselves a winner after these messages!

mungojerry311: JohnnyBot, we have an empty spot here in contestant's row, who do we have to fill that spot?

JohnnyBot: mechamind, come on down! You're the next contestant on The Price Is Right!

*Walking 2007 cue plays*

*mechamind takes his spot in contestants row*

mungojerry311: Welcome to the show, mechamind. Let's see what our next item up for bids is!

*The turntable spins around*

JohnnyBot: It's a set of golf clubs!

(modeled by DianBot)

This golf club set has everything you need to dominate your next tee time! It comes complete with six irons and three woods, plus a putter and bag to put them all in. Also included are covers to keep your clubs in top condition, and it's all from Callaway!

mungojerry311: OK mechamind you're up first, what is your bid?
