1233: Wow, we had some quick bidding going on, I like it. So who to pick to play...

Announcer: It has to be them! {pointing directly at tpirguyMN}

They reminded me that transporting that thing over here was almost as bad as getting it in the first place!!

1233: I guess that works. So what costs the same as this problem-causing wardrobe?

{says sofa}

Ok, so the price of that sofa is...

{flips tag}

{ding}

...a fair $579.

Honestly, that looks like a good price for this dresser, too. Let's see, the cursed cabinet costs....

{flips tag}

{ding, ding, ding, ding, ding}
{cheers from the crowd}

...the same!! Congrats on a successful swap!!

{flips rest of tags}

Unfortunately, geniusinmath, the first game did you in.

But I'm sure my lovely announcer would sell you this wardrobe for the sound system price off-stage!  :-)

I hope you still had fun, though!

Next pricing game coming up, after this line break!

{group walks over to GPT}

1233: It's nice to get that first win under your belt to ease the nerves a bit, even though none of you seemed nervous to start. You guys like sped through that game.

I guess winning a cabinet and sofa shouldn't really stress you out too much.

Maybe we should up the ante and give you a shot at winning that! {points to door 3}

{door 3 opens}

Announcer: It's a BRAND NEW CAR!!!

This 2024 Toyota Corolla Hatchback SE comes with standard equipment, a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine, front wheel drive, continuously variable transmission, mudguards, emergency assistance kit and cargo tray. The Toyota Corolla Hatchback!!!

1233: It might just be a Toyota, but surely that beats a sofa, right?  :-D

Anyways, in One Away, all these numbers are conveniently one away from the actual number. Move them the right way and that car is all yours

Now I need each one of you in your post to give me 5 guesses as follows:

-an initial guess
-a second guess if you have 1 number right initially
-a second guess if you have 2 numbers right initially
-a second guess if you have 3 numbers right initially
-a second guess if you have 4 numbers right initially

Looks like a lot, but I'm sure you guys can handle it. I'll give you guys another 48 hours to guess (even though you all were quite quick the first time around). Best of luck!

It's irrelevant, anyways: I'd like to point out a crucial section in the Host Your Own section rules:

> In order to either host a show or play as a contestant, you must be an active and participating forum member with at least 20% of your posts coming from outside the gaming sections (Host Your Own, CSS, and FPG). Generally, the majority of your posts should be about some televised version of The Price is Right, whether they be episode commentary in recap threads, discussion in the First Run Recap section, or similar contributions. Exemptions may be made for members who have appeared on the televised version of the show. In all cases, the G-R staff retains the right to determine the eligibility of a given member based on their posting history, and may disallow a prospective player/host on these grounds.

booktpottpir has a post count of zero, as posts made in this section do not count towards a user's post count. As such, he does not meet the criteria. I'm not as super strict as to what counts as activity outside of this section, but with a total post count of exactly zero, clearly there is none.

As such, booktpottpir is officially evicted from this game, and will need to contribute more if he is to play any future games.
People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

My initial guess is 26,975.

If I only have 1 number: 24,797
If I have 2 numbers: 26,797
If I have 3 numbers: 26,795
If I have 4 numbers: 24,975.

If this is my swan song. I had fun playing and I will enjoy the other prizes. 😆
