Live for the present.  Embrace the future.  Our favorite game show is still producing excellent, high quality, exciting, hour-long* shows every weekday throughout its traditional season window.  It’s as good as it’s been in a long, long time.  If the 1980s were the ‘good ole days’ for the Barker era, so is RIGHT NOW for the Carey era.  Don’t worry about what the future holds.  It will play out in due time.  Enjoy what we have right in front of us in the meantime!

$1401!

Nobody’s bid $1400? I don’t care! $1401!

Password looks like any idiot could have made it up, but we have 14 of our people working on that show. There is a great complexity behind the screen. It requires great work to keep it simple."

$1 because screw it, why not
"If any show, forget sports, Price is Right, [the audience is] the star of the show. Somebody... coming on down and losing their minds, and ... crying, that's the show. The show isn't me, the show isn't necessarily [a] can of soup, how much that is, it's watching people go bananas, and there's going to be some of that missing."

-Drew Carey, interview with Athletic, September 16, 2020

"I honestly thought the doubler was gone, but 9821 going $0 makes sense"

Lots of bids here with a wide range.  The actual retail price is... $2,825, and the winner is...

$2678. Sure could use this with how long and cold the winter has been up here.

Prizes! Jess will be warmer wherever she is, and will also join me up here for the first pricing game.  Let's walk over here... this looks like some sort of piano.  Rich, please describe it.

Rich: The Yamaha Arius 165 digital piano does its best to emulate a real piano.  It features synthetic ivory key tops, a built-in speaker, CFX stereo sound sampling and three pedals, and comes with a bench made of dark rosewood.

And Jess, you also have a chance to win these!

Rich: A lovely armchair, a home gym, and a handy washer/dryer!

From Hokku Designs comes this Italian leather armchair with power recliner and power headrests.  Featuring plush feather down cushioning, a 46-inch wide structure, support structures to promote good posture and a USB port, this excellent chair helps you relax when you're not standing.

Next, a home gym from Atlas Strength.  It has a high weight capacity, supporting up to 1,000 pounds of weights, a space-saving design, and lots of included accessories and attachments.  And, you can perform a variety of different exercises for a full-body workout.

And finally, this all-in-one ventless washer/dryer combo from Midea has a high capacity of 26 pounds of laundry and an overnight wash and dry cycle.  It also saves space, as it's just one machine.  And there they are, Jordan!

And Jess, you can win all four prizes if you win Swap Meet.  Take a good look at this piano, and take a good look at the other three prizes.  You must tell me which of the three prizes costs the same as the piano.  What do you think, Jess?
