Yes, it's a big issue today. Seems like a lot of guests (bots?) on the online list.

And it didn't magically fix itself overnight, either. We're into April, and it's still doing it.

(I find it funny that sometimes, the CSS threads load properly...except for the CSS results file itself, and when that happens, it just shows the file name but nothing else.)

It's getting bad around CSS time, Adam thinks it's bots expecting his recaps to be posted and preparing for that.

Is there anything that can be done to limit guests getting through, at least for some times of the day? It definitely is 90+% AI bots doing their scraping.

In the meantime, can we offer CSS bids via Discord as an alternative? Not to say you have to bid that way, but it's at least an official option that way if the site is beyond control.

It's a 500 range error (specifically 508, though apparently it's nonstandard where 503 would be used instead), so a list of affected users is not necessary here. It's really the host that's having issues.
