Things are continuing to line up with what we hoped, making for some very high scoring. We should get reverse frankens of 0982L, 0983L and half of 0984L this week.

Next week, which you may want to consider when deciding what not to pick, has been reverse engineered by Tris to the best of his ability and he thinks after the remainder of 0984L on Monday (1081L) will be a reverse franken of 1011L for two shows, a REGULAR franken of 1012-13L for 1084L, then we know 1014L is with 1085L / 1095L (July 4th).

The DIAMOND will be the PATTERN for this playing.

I made a handful of off the wall picks, as otherwise FJB would hold on unobstructed, I think. It's probably already too late and his lead is mostly both those FIRST GRECOs going his way, but let's see what happens - how many 6/6 bonuses occur (I think we've had basically none these playoffs) could also make things interesting (or end it early!).

We got four 0982L games in the middle, bookended by a very due A#... and the least likely regular SP to show up this week, strictly looking at their last played dates. Of course. But Cliff is one of those games that does that... will it be at the expense of Bonus, or another game?

Tris is among three 6/6ers, so he gains a bit of ground.

This lineup frustrated me, although I did manage to hit on the Danger troll. CoG being filler is not that surprising but still unwelcome, Freeze is an odd choice for a back to back quickie instead there. I would have really liked to see OA get a makeup playing as it suffered a couple droughts this season instead of Line.

I had this inkling L7 had that bizarre two month outage and OA is a good budget game to perhaps show again unexpectedly. I knew I had to be uncomfortable to have a chance here, and it's paid off with a bit of hope on converting a 6/6 bonus and setting up multiple potential follow-on GRECOs. FJB will probably stave me off but it will be fun to see the finale.

Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to update with a fresh spreadsheet again until Sunday night, so you all will have to calculate the final results for yourselves. See upcoming discussion on Discord, and/or perhaps I will post from my phone one time. I was expecting FJB to fully have run away with this by now now and it wouldn't be a big deal, but literally this OA over L7 today has breathed a bit of life into the proceedings, for now.

Btw, another four games from the frankentaping like Monday. Will we see filler again tomorrow? Pocket on back to back is the question...

I wish I was coming to you early on a Monday morning with a comeback win, but while I did win this week on great Danger, OA & 241 picks, there were ultimately both too many curveballs (Grand, Cliff, Key, no Math, no CoG) and not enough (L7 still showed) to overcome a 19 point deficit.

Still, I think the prior two years have been foregone conclusions, and at one point Friday I was within 6 points. The final difference was 11, so two more better decisions (not just this week) and I was right there. I felt like I learned a lot this run, and I'd like to tie it 2-2 between FJB & me next June, if I actually remember any of the lessons I learned.  (This is also highly dependent on if we get a bunch of reverse frankens again, that absolutely made scoring easier and the playstyle very different)

One change I think I will make for next year (and probably the only one) is a regular season win will give you +1 playoff starting point. Let's make winning in the regular season matter a bit more (am I sealing our fates against FJB already? No?) Maybe I'll fiddle with this and say 1/2 point per win.

We also need to see if all-cash Fridays become a mainstay, I am worried about that. But for now... peace!
