I probably did consider Miami to cover, but I just thought that Indiana was too good to keep it that close.  A learning lesson from Clemson/LSU half a dozen years ago.

For me I ended up not caring and more concerned about Indiana winning the game, period.  Miami didn't win but it does appear that they are really back.  Probably should've been in the ACC title game had the criteria within that conference been better than it was.

A couple of things now that we're a couple of weeks removed from the title game (that I couldn't get to earlier).  Notre Dame, Ohio State & Texas are early favorites to win next year.  I believe it opened with Ohio State & Indiana among the Top 3 when I checked right after the 2026 Championship Game ended.

Speaking of that game, it was the second most watched playoff final.  With 30.1 million viewers, behind the first one 11 years ago (34.1), that is pretty decent.
