Path to Perfection IV: 123123123's PG Gauntlet (S2, E9)

Calling all TPiR fans!!

With the newest season of the show starting later this month, what better way to get ready than to try your hand at perfecting a show!

Starting this Friday afternoon (9/5), the Numbers studio will once again open its doors to all contestants who want to try their luck.

Just like a normal show there will be 6 pricing games, but no IUFBs to worry about.

Unlike a normal show though, all contestants will play all the pricing games at the same time. If you keep winning, you keep playing for a shot at perfect show bragging rights. But the moment you lose a game, you'll be immediately escorted out of the building, deemed a poor pricer.

The show keeps going until someone makes it to the end and wins the showcase, or all players are eliminated.

My feelings remain unchanged from last show. Will it be fun? I sure hope so. Will it be easy? Not a chance, as the crew fully expects most of you to flame out before the first commercial break

But I love being proved wrong, so come one and all and flex your pricing muscles!

Please look over the section rules to make sure you are eligible to play. If so, please give a simple "I'm in" so I know who's a part of it

How does this work with different time zones?
My taping history:

1 Bob taping somewhere around 1986
30 Drew tapings starting February 5th 2024 ending October 9, 2025
My 'Come on Down' moment occurred on October 8th 2025 (1284L).  Air date of February 5th 2026. Two years exactly from my first taping.

How does this work with different time zones?

Once the game starts, I will reveal the game set up/rules to everyone. From then, everyone who signed up will have 24-48 hours to make their decision(s). It's similar to the last few shows I did, so you can look at those as reference.

As long as you are able to log in to the site once a day, time zones shouldn't affect your ability to participate.

Sounds like a blast!
Came on down 5/21/25, 3rd position, initial 4, first on stage, won PAP, last to spin on SSD, p1 got 90, p2 spun out, I got 75 in total.  10 year countdown.  Attended 18 tapings.  2 in 2020.  February 5th, 2024 x2.  February 6th, 2024 (my wife Sherry won her PG & SC, aired April 12th).  February 7th, 2024 (My son lost PG and SC overbid Aired April 29th).  June 2024 5 tapings (incl primetime).  2025-January 22nd and 23rd x2, February 3rd, 4th (10K), and 5th x2.

Guess I underestimated how dead the site/section can be during the off-season.

Anyways, the plan is still to start sometime tomorrow, for anyone interested.

If you worked hard to put it together, there's nothing wrong with holding off a week or 2.

Fair point. My schedule is pretty open at the moment, but I can't imagine I'd be holding up a huge line.

I'll see how were looking tomorrow afternoon. If it's still a lower turnout, then I'll push the start back a few weeks.

I'm down to play, now or in the near future
"If any show, forget sports, Price is Right, [the audience is] the star of the show. Somebody... coming on down and losing their minds, and ... crying, that's the show. The show isn't me, the show isn't necessarily [a] can of soup, how much that is, it's watching people go bananas, and there's going to be some of that missing."

Thank you everyone who signed up. Just a heads up, I think I'm going to push the start back a few weeks. It'll give me time to make some improvements  ;-)

I'll post an update reminder a few days before I start it up, so see you guys then

Good morning all!

With the new season back and a few more members back from their summer vacations, I'm going to try to start this show back up.

I'll plan to start sometime tomorrow afternoon (9/24) for anyone else who wants to sign up, but wasn't around the first time.

The extra set up time let me add in some surprises, so join in to see what's in store!
