I didn't think this show could get any worse, then they played Switcheroo on a video wall with a row of physical slots to put the number blocks in. The repetitiveness of the prizes (ESPECIALLY the car) is also getting pretty noticeable and annoying.

George Gray! Rachel Reynolds! Amber Lancaster! Manuela Arbelaez! Alexis Gaube! And James O'Halloran!
As we play the fabulous, sixty-minute Price is Right!
And here's the star of The Price is Right - Drew Carey!

I think above we already found out no bonus for $1.00.

There is a $1,000 bonus for spinning a dollar, though. Three people got it in one show in week 2.

Oh good, it got worse tonight. Somebody wiped out on One Away but they gave him a second chance and of course, he changed all the numbers and won, LAME!!!

Does this show air in the USA or only in Canada? I was wondering how I could watch it.

I am wondering if that was a situation along the lines of when Drew messed up the rules of Make Your Mark in season 37 and they decided in the moment to make them the new rules to avoid embarrassing Drew? It definitely sounded like there was some ADR done with Howie to explain away why the contestant was allowed to change all the numbers and win the car by default.

Also... "Roger, when was the last time that a contestant got every number wrong in One Away?"

That... that seems like a really glaringly sloppy mistake.

The more I see of this show, the happier I become that I wasn't hired to work on it. It is literally "reality show" people trying to produce a game show.

Funny enough, even if they were going for a "reality show" style, they would've missed out on the potential drama that would result from a One Away wipeout.

I was thinking something similar - it's The Price is Right given the "2020s game show" treatment. I mean, it literally is The Price is Right produced in 2026, but you get what I mean.

The Doug Davidson version may have taken a lot of liberties but I still find it enjoyable in its own way. This version is grating to watch.

A few days ago I was thinking this is how the U.S. show would be if it ended in the 90's and then got rebooted for modern times.

I mean, it's pretty hard to get every single digit wrong. If you know the wrong answer to each digit it's because you know the right digits and could have just picked those. I'm actually inclined to allow it.

That's exactly what it is. It's probably better than what it would have been in the 2000s but it's still rough.
