I will say that he wasn't that bad as a guest host back in 2021. Per the article, it's expected to use celebrities (including ESPN hosts) rather than civilians.

Great call re: Buck as host.  I thought he was pretty good in 2021.  Not very, very good or great but not bad at all.  Plus he's improved overtime as a play-by-play guy following a ton of criticism.  IMO the best choice for this version.
