Overall good show.  I have a few production comments.

The idea to have the spotlight on door 2 and have the models join Drew in the opening was cool.  Unfortunately the whole process wasn't carried out that well.  I like that they got rid of the blue curtains behind the turntable.  It just looks better and is a bit of a throwback to the Barker Era.  I wonder if they'll eventually get rid of the blue curtains in daytime too.  I also like that they kept the lights in the audience dimmed at all times.  Another throwback to Barker's early years.

I really liked the disposal of the white curtains behind the turntable. It was kind of weird at first though since we've never seen the current square turntable walls in front of "nothing" (a black curtain). It clashed with the white walls around the door frames though IMO. I hope that this change can be moved to daytime, as really there wasn't a need to accent the curtains behind the turntable anyway.

The intro was weird and it didn't look good on SD feed. Maybe HD but I don't know as I don't have it, ....

There were a couple times that the whole thing seemed out of sorts and a shade choppy -- I do think SD vs. HD had something to do with it.

Got real bad around the credit roll.

As far as the new rule change:  Drew addressed that at the MDS taping I was at.  Insurance policy demanded the change.

Switcheroo...twice in one day! WOOHOO! :) As for the bid in SC1, what the heck? Even boats in daytime are often pricier than that

Well, at least Denise broke Switcheroo's prizeless streak.  It's a favorite game of mine, and it was depressing to see it be skunked twice in a row.

Chevy Corvette<=>Ford Mustang.

And yeah, it was Cover Up in the sixth MDS IIRC.
Chevy Corvette = Ford Mustang SHELBY.

You gotta remember - that Shelby Mustang is a high ticket item.

My bid on that second showcase was $72,000... would have nailed it.

I thought it was cool to see the three million dollar winners so far show off the huge checks in the opening.

It was pretty cool that Drew got an escort as he was walking to get the microphone.

Dang, seven models in one night?  I think that's a bit too much people to model prizes, if you ask me.

Wow, unless it happened in 1986, this is the first time Switcheroo was played in primetime!

Well, Switcheroo as the million dollar game is probably my favorite one so far.  It can be done and it's not as risky as Safe Crackers and ½ Off.

Also, it appears they have a new music sting for the Million Dollar Game and the Showcase when the million dollar graphic is shown.

Even though Khamille didn't know where the Galapagos Islands were, it was pretty fortunate that she managed to win.  Incidentally, the price ended in 666, Ro

Wow, Pathfinder makes its first primetime appearance since May 1, 2004!

Pathfinder looks so awesome against the black floor.  It was also great that we saw an exacta to boot, and it was hilarious to see James jump into his new convertible afterwards.

Wow, the Silverado sure went up in price for this year.  I'm surprised Brenda didn't stop after that huge jump from $25,000 to $29,000 in price.

Grand Game again, I hope we see Punch a Bunch come up on this batch of specials sometime.

I loved how the showcase contrasted each other, high-tech to low-tech.

Well, after giving away $3 million dollars, they decided to cut the range in half.

Switcheroo: Well, at least two prizes were won this time.

Range Game: Khamille was so hilarious! "I want to win three cars or three husbands!"

Pathfinder: Now that's the way to play this game!

That's Too Much!: It was obvious Brenda went way too far on this one.

Grand Game: Great win here.

Barker's Bargain Bar: Man, when's Drew going to make another shout-out to Ezekiel or Jebediah?  :-) Anyway, I would have lost this one.

One of the best primetime specials I've seen so far.

I'm surprised this has yet to be mentioned, but... uh...

PATHFINDER?!  Pathfinder!  That gave me some shock!  'Cause they'd aleady played Switcheroo, and all.  That had to have been a historic moment!  The first time ever in Price is Right history that awesome Pathfinder and awesome Switcheroo were played in the same show!  Heck, for that matter, the first time ever in Price is Right history two small prize car games were ever played in the same show, period!  So very awesome there!

I was just tearing my hair out. Brenda was just clueless. I've NEVER seen That's Too Much set up to be so easily won. When the price jumped from $25000 to $29000, a jump in $4000, that $29000 price just screamed "PICK ME!!!!" But she kept going way too far and lost. And a showcase in an MDS in the $20,000 range? What was she thinking?

Yea i know, and then when she went to the showcase she only bid $29000. I was thinking she would go 6 digits. I thought she was going to overbid like she did in thats too much, but instead she underbid, and by a lot.

So she thought that big ski boat, tv, wii, etc was cheaper than a Chevy 1500 truck?

Open:  I liked having all the million dollar winners in the beginning.   Drew's entrance was weird.  I would have had the models waiting at the door instead of three to four steps in.  The dissolve and the camera angle on the mic handoff was just too weird.  I wanted to see if the crowd was hot tonight.  Just too awkward for me.

Switcheroo:  Not bad for the M$PG.  This one was a bit tough.  I can't believe you can't think that the soccer ball is not the cheapest item of the four.  That could have helped her.

Range Game:  I had a slight problem with how this was handled before playing.  If you are going to offer a prize, KNOW WHERE IT IS.  The fact Drew didn't know where it is suggests to me there was some communication problem.  Don't make Drew look foolish.  The host shouldn't be left out in the dark and should know (most) EVERYTHING on that stage.   That didn't seem to be Drew's fault, though.   Anyway, for playing, I thought she hit it early and it looked like she wanted to wait 37 hours to change it.  I'm glad she didn't.

Pathfinder:  After he got the first three, the rest was easy.  A lot of one or the other picks towards the end.  Played very well.

That's Too Much:  The increments were kinda large.  I didn't think the truck was over $30k, though when you play that game, sometimes it can fool you.

Grand Game:  $6 could be tricky.  I know when I saw a $5 item, that could have been a loss if not played right.

Barker's Bargain Bar:  That $2,000 bargain looked awfully tempting.  Then again, it is a million dollar spectacular, so that should be close to expected.

Showcase Showdowns:  Wow, the wheel was hot tonight.  Two $5Ks on the night.

Showcases:  NEVER EVER BID UNDER $30,000 ON A SHOWCASE ON AN MDS!  The new rule change had to be forced I imagine.  You've given away $1 million twice.  I'm not that surprised.

All in all, a great show.  A LOT of changes from the first MDS, so this felt like a different show.

A few thoughts:

• James was the best contestant tonight. Pathfinder was easy once he got to the back of the prop. He turned the correct direction and it was academic from there. I have never seen this game end anywhere but the edge of the board (well, maybe once did it end a row in, but still ...).

• Give Brenda a break. I thought she stopped at the right time. Remember, this had the top-line LT package, meaning it surely had to be $30,000-plus. Just some bad luck, I guess. As for her showcase, man, what an expensive skiboat (probably $60,000 plus by itself); I would definitely have lowballed my bid, too. What a nice package she would have had if she had won her Showcase; oh well ...

Opening:  Wow!  Drew escorted to his starting spot by two models!  Now that was classy!

Roo:  Yay!  Primetime Switcheroo! :P For a Cadillac!  Nice to see it played for a million, but Roger knew the million would never get won with this setup.  Who the hell would pay $59 for that ugly bag?  Much like on the earlier playing of Roo by Shawn, Denise did herself a disservice by placing the 4 in the Caddy when there were already two 4s in the price.

Range:  Ooooh, a trip to the Galapagos!  I'm sure this is the first Galapagos trip offered on any game show, not just Price.  Another evil price (not evil as in impossible, but evil as in $9,666) by Roger.

Pathy:  Yay!  Primetime Pathfinder! :P I can't believe that this and Roo were played on the same show... and the same half.  This is the first time ever that two car/SP games have appeared on the same show.  Roger is breathing a sigh of relief that he didn't make this game "exacta for $1M".  James played flawlessly... and he even walked the path like a Navy man, about-face and all.

That's Too Pink!:  THAT'S WAY TOO MUCH!  I did not expect that truck to be over $26,000.  I thought $22,780 was too much.

Grandy:  I don't know how this game was won today.  I never would've guessed that the lip treatment would be less than the Alka-Seltzer.

SC #1:  WHAT?!  $28,950 doesn't cover half of the boat.  :gotc:

My showcase bids:
:frbs: --$70,207
Mustang--$67,307

Result:  WTF?!  How did that first showcase get to $90,000?!  Were those helicopters worth $10,000 each or something?
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

Holy honking, Batman!  TWO SP/CAR games in the show, and BOTH in the same half!  And they are Switcheroo and Pathfinder!  That's just awesome.

Million-Dollar graphic is neat, but the cue is blah.

That cue in Grand Game sounded like elevator music, or as tpirfan28 said, Weather Channel music.
I'm a big Weather Channel fan...sounds like something they ripped right off the channel.  I might even do something funny about that...
They can be close at the top, too.
