New PG Idea: Nothing in Common
« on: May 12, 2006, 03:07:06 PM »
This game is played for three prizes, each with 4 digits in its price. Two of the prizes have no repeated numbers between them; all 8 digits in their prices are different. The third prize has a price that repeats at least 1 digit in the other two prices.

The contestant must choose the two prizes that have no repeated digits between them in order to win all three prizes.

It's an OK idea, but it relies too much on just randomly picking prizes.  There's not really any pricing knowledge you would need to use.

Bad, bad idea.  It's just way too random-guessing.  There would be absolutely no way a contestant could logically try to think through which two prizes might have no repeating digits, and it would come down to the blindest of blind guesses for every single playing.  So no, I don't see how this could work.
