Well, the turntable gets an extra panel to conceal the producers' table. I thought it was funny for Drew to acknowledge that they "were in a box" and the cameras cut to a shot of someone closing the window.
Melissa played Clock Game very well today and was excited to be on the show, it was great to see her rewarded with those two prizes and $1000.
It was pretty nice that Drew acknowledged Carol on the show today and congratulated her on her Emmy win recently and thanked her for a good job she was doing behind the scenes.
I guess they added something to Master Key's key-holding box to further secure them. Also, I like the fact Drew let Gina pick a key herself this time, if only he could do the same for Pass the Buck.
This is the first loss in Master Key this season, the truck was not won. I wonder why the cradle lock's "WIN" tag didn't come all the way up, and it was a real shame that the second key wasn't the master. But a sofa and cradle is nothing to be ashamed about, IMO.
Wow, for the first time in over two months, Grand Game was won!
Geez, Clearance Sale was played 5th for the first time in almost 8 years!
For the third time this season, Lucky $even was played sixth! Frank probably was a happy man today seeing that game in its "second home" again.
Macilynn's guess on the third number really killed her chances of winning the game. She had practically no room for error on the last two numbers.
Drew also did the showcase round very well today, and that is how he should be doing that segment of the show.
Clearance Sale: 5th?!?!? When's the last time this game was played 5th?
A long time ago, October 26, 2000.
I must say Clearance Sale and L7 had some crazy slotting.
Until the spring of 1999, Lucky $even sixth was very common. The game was relegated to the first half for 9 years to accomodate the backstage crew since the car takes up a lot of space. In a probable attempt to break the monotony of the repeating lineups for the first part of this season, Roger slotted it in the second half again.
