Drew was on top of his game today, during the first two games, he stumbled a lot, but had fun with it. Then, IMO, his hosting of Grandy was near perfection, the best job he has done with Grand Game all season.

That new turntable panel that hides the producers is so cool! I can see some mishap happening and all you see is a shot of the panels closing.

I thought it was wonderful of Drew to recognize Carol today. She really deserved that Emmy.

Awesome show today. Awesome lineup. Drew was awesome today as well, esp. with his banter during Clock Game

Clock Game: Now that's what i'd call a high energy playing. Both Melissa and Drew seemed hyper.

Master Key: Wow, first loss in this game in quite some time. Though I must admit that sofa was very nice. Gotta love Drew's comments to Gina about having a "Will Smith DVD" after winning that.

Freeze Frame: Now that was a funky price.

Clearance Sale: 5th?!?!? When's the last time this game was played 5th? I think the Dob's trying to mess with our mind's here.

L7: 6th again!!!!!!!!!!!! Kudos to the Dob for slotting this game 6th once again. I don't care that it was lost, just seeing it 6th makes it worth it.

Interesting to note the last time we saw 3 Strikes-3 of today's games were included in that show Clock-3rd, Freeze-4th and Key-last. I said then that was the best lineup of the season. Today's lineup has to rank up there as well. Especially with the way the 2nd half was slotted.

Pretty good show today.  Drew had lots of energy and was on top of everything, unlike yesterday, and he was cracking numerous jokes about the prizes being offered, although not to the point that he was doing it near the beginning of the season, which is a good thing.

I also liked that new turntable panel by the producer's table...I wonder if that's the latest step towards moving to daytime TPiR being in HD in the fall.   Also, a cameo from Carol, and congrats on the Emmy!

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

Best show of the week easily. Drew was very good, especially in the first half.

Great lineup today. Nice to see Clocky and MK again. Freeze Frame is more interesting tha a lot of quickie games.

I must say Clearance Sale and L7 had some crazy slotting.
Retired Games that should be brought back:
Barker's Bargain Bar, Buy or Sell, Superball!, Super Saver, Split Decision, Give or Keep, Hurdles, Penny Ante, Walk of Fame

Well, the turntable gets an extra panel to conceal the producers' table.  I thought it was funny for Drew to acknowledge that they "were in a box" and the cameras cut to a shot of someone closing the window.

Melissa played Clock Game very well today and was excited to be on the show, it was great to see her rewarded with those two prizes and $1000.

It was pretty nice that Drew acknowledged Carol on the show today and congratulated her on her Emmy win recently and thanked her for a good job she was doing behind the scenes.

I guess they added something to Master Key's key-holding box to further secure them.  Also, I like the fact Drew let Gina pick a key herself this time, if only he could do the same for Pass the Buck.

This is the first loss in Master Key this season, the truck was not won.  I wonder why the cradle lock's "WIN" tag didn't come all the way up, and it was a real shame that the second key wasn't the master.  But a sofa and cradle is nothing to be ashamed about, IMO.

Wow, for the first time in over two months, Grand Game was won!

Geez, Clearance Sale was played 5th for the first time in almost 8 years!

For the third time this season, Lucky $even was played sixth!  Frank probably was a happy man today seeing that game in its "second home" again.

Macilynn's guess on the third number really killed her chances of winning the game.  She had practically no room for error on the last two numbers.

Drew also did the showcase round very well today, and that is how he should be doing that segment of the show.

Clearance Sale: 5th?!?!? When's the last time this game was played 5th?

A long time ago, October 26, 2000.

I must say Clearance Sale and L7 had some crazy slotting.

Until the spring of 1999, Lucky $even sixth was very common.  The game was relegated to the first half for 9 years to accomodate the backstage crew since the car takes up a lot of space.  In a probable attempt to break the monotony of the repeating lineups for the first part of this season, Roger slotted it in the second half again.

I also liked that new turntable panel by the producer's table...I wonder if that's the latest step towards moving to daytime TPiR being in HD in the fall.

Confirmed by Roger that it is indeed there for HD preparations.

You should also know that the show is taping in HD in studio and then being aired "regularly".

Oh....that burned out light bulb ain't burned out at all.  Works just fine when it appears on the monitors in studio, and the HD border itself IS AWESOME.  It'll be a neat treat for those of you come S37.

I can see some mishap happening and all you see is a shot of the panels closing.

Not once but twice during the taping that I saw that airs tomorrow, Drew was messing around with the opening and twice he almost got his fingers caught in the opening.  After due prompting by KG, he quit messin around.

Drew just likes to mess around with those kinds of things, doesn't he? First he gets his arm caught in the turntable, now he almost gets his fingers caught in that opening, what's next?

Clock Game: The way that Drew said higher and lower was rather interesting. Great playing there.

Master Key: It's a shame Gina didn't got the truck. But at she got the cradle and the sofa. Better than nothing.

Pre-IUFB #3: It's great that Drew acknowledged Carol there considering she won a Emmy for make up for the show.

Grand Game: I would pick those 4 too. IMO it was a simple $10,000 there.

Freeze Frame: $8811 would've been my guess also on my dream trip to Athens. Lol.

Clearance Sale: My order would be the dinnerware, the popcorn cart, and the desk. I don't think Roger wanted this game won. MO.

Lucky Seven: That third number really killed it for Macilynn there.

SCSD #2: I wanted Cesar to win.

Showcases: Elizabeth thought that bidding $32,000 was too much. Sadly though she was right. Great bid by Adam there. He may not be going to Athens but he's going to Japan though.

I know that technically Master Key was lost today, but man, those two "consolation" prizes were awfully pricey, weren't they?

Looking at the fact that the top winner of the first half of the show lost, but there was a winner in the first half.  How often does a loser in a half of a show overcome a winner, especially to become the top winner?

Clock Game:  It was interesting to hear Drew’s “higher” and “lower” and how he made fun of it!

Master Key:  Wow!  Two prizes won and the game was still lost.  I thought it was amazing how both keys opened only one prize instead of picking a key that was either the master key or the dud key.

Grand Game:  I thought it was an easy set-up.  I knew that the batteries and Freeze-Away were above $8.

Clearance Sale:  It was exciting to see this game in Slot #5 for only the 2nd time in its history!

Lucky $even: The 3rd number was a killer for me too.

SC1: My Bid: $34,370 / Diff: OVER
SC2: My Bid: $16,388 / Diff: $840

I thought it was funny for Drew to acknowledge that they "were in a box" and the cameras cut to a shot of someone closing the window.
Could you explain that?  I missed that part.

I just love seeing Drew host clock game. Watching somethings from earlier this season, he was calm and relaxed. Now he gets jumpy and tries to save the contestant some time. Makes the game so much more fun to watch.

Glad we got to see the panels and Carol today. Reminds me when the show used to bring out staffers for different things which seems hard now due to time constraints. Glad they had time to give Carol a shot.

After due prompting by KG, he quit messin around.

Does anyone have a shot of her reaction when she realized she was on camera? It looked as if she hadn't known that the box would get camera time.
