Thumbs up to this week's TPIR contestants who are a whopping 21-3 in pricing games as of the 10/18 show. The only 3 games lost this week have been Golden Road (10/16), Temptation (10/18) and That's Too Much (10/18). Good job!

Well, when you have people picking which of the 30 shows that are in the can to air first, it's pretty easy to get a large number of wins on the air if you want to.

I said something about so many wins and perfect shows and some newbie totally freaked out on me.

Add to that Any Number on Tuesday, which means we're a network-cherrypicked 20-4 for the season (19 wins if you're a Pl!nko! purist).
It'll balance out soon enough.

It would be awfully nice right now if we ended the week with an El Stinko or production's idea of a "Perfect Show" (Six losses and a double overbid).

Week 1 of the Carey era ended up with XX full fledged pricing game wins, X partial wins and X outright losses. Not too shabby!
Note from MG: And this, my friends, is a spoiler.

The correct term for a winless show plus double overbid is "El Skunko" ;)

This reminds me of the local noon newscasters, who were talking about Drew's first show on Monday. They said it seemed 'awfully suspicious' that he had a perfect show on his first show, on top of the million dollar winner on the first episode of 10^X. Obviously they (along with 99.4% of the people that watched) were oblivious to the fact that these shows are going out of order.
No real point there. I just felt like sharing that.

El Skunko sounds good. Better than my term for a double overbid. CHASCO at the end. lol. Kudos for the winners this week.
