For me, the strategy has always been to get a certain number in mind, keep the lever in the up position until you reach your target and then just stop. No dawdling with it like it's a toy.
Irritation rant in general over.
At least the guy will be able to drink up after the Master Key contest. Good prize to win. Sorry it didn't work out for the car.

What a bummer to start the show with that Dice Game loss. With the low roll on the 2nd number and the two ones, the 3rd number being a 6 was the one thing that could've happened to make a loss.
Very difficult Swap Meet, none of the three prizes looked like it would match the shoes and the ping pong table was the least likely. I thought the computer also.
Mean Grand Game as well, although I was thinking the jalapeno poppers would be the other over item with the pain relief. The detergent just seemed like too much of a trap item, but the dog biscuits could've been over also.
Another ridiculous range between the two prizes in Magic #.
Wonder why Joshua thought $62 for the hair straightener. At least he got one prize.

One thing that irritates me about "Magic #" is that sometimes, contestants will hit a certain point and then keep moving the lever up and down like it was a toy.
For me, the strategy has always been to get a certain number in mind, keep the lever in the up position until you reach your target and then just stop. No dawdling with it like it's a toy
To her credit she went RIGHT up to the $3,000 range and didn’t budge even with the audience chanting “LOWER! LOWER” like a pack of trained seals. I was worried she would get bullied into losing the game but she stuck to her guns.

You can assume a decently smart contestant will know that they won't offer a 13,000 or lower car on Dice Game, so hitting a 4 you still call higher. The only questionable one here is 5. So let's say the 5's a successful trap for the first digit, that's an 83% chance of that first digit working. The digit that was lost on...a 4 or 5 calls lower and loses, so that's a 66% chance of that digit working. The 2 in the next to last spot generally loses on a 3 but is called right on anything else, so that's another 83% chance. The last digit being a 3 should be called right no matter what the contestant rolls. That makes for...a 46.29% chance of the game being won. Which...I guess isn't horrible looking back on it but seems lower than usual?
I still have no clue why contestants don't leave one obvious prize on Grand Game so they get $100 as opposed to having no clear pick for the last one.
And TPIRFan2000... I wouldn't call it shameful producing, but rather unintentionally getting back to what The Price is Right was supposed to be about. Being rewarded for smart shopping and being observant. It was only when Carey threw a tantrum over "$23,473" that we started seeing a slew of new prizes in an attempt to beat LFaTs. I don't mind seeing recycled prizes, I wouldn't mind seeing a contestant manage to win a huge prize because they remembered something from a season or two ago being used on the show and what it cost.
