Idea for a new site feature

On other websites that I visit, there is a feature that has a list of all members registered on the site, sort of like a member directory. This is very useful because there are times that I want to view a member's profile, but if the member hasn't been active for a while, there's no easy way to do so without using the feature. There's no such feature on G-R. Is it possible that some sort of "directory" could be incorporated here? Thanks a lot!

It’s a bit of a workaround, but you can click “my messages,” then “send a message”,” begin typing the username, select it from the list, and then click on the link for that user that appears below the “To:” line.    That link will take you to said user’s profile.   Just be careful not to send the message.
