This one wasn't listed four months ago at the time of his death, but it involves another country music performer, this one from the 1980s. (And I apologize if this subverts any rules about the latest after someone's passing a notice can be listed.)

Razzy Bailey, whom some of you may remember for songs like "Lovin' Up a Storm," "I Keep Coming Back," "Friends," "Midnight Hauler" and "She Left Love All Over Me" (all No. 1 hits between the fall of 1980 and the spring of 1982), passed away Aug. 4, age 82. One of his earliest big breaks was as a songwriter, on the 1976 Dickey Lee hit "9,999,999 Tears."

I noted a week or so earlier, with the death of 1950s/1960s star Stonewall Jackson, that almost all of the 1950s stars are gone. In the past several years, it's really encroached upon the 1980s.

As I said earlier, please enjoy them while you can.

He was a well-respected NFL coach and broadcaster and I send heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, his longtime colleagues at CBS Sports and the NFL.

As someone born on 2-23-1981 who grew up in the 80s/90s era, I grew up with Summerall and Madden being THE NFL broadcasting team. John Madden used a combination of football knowledge and unique personality to become the GOAT color analyst in any sport. BOOM!

R.I.P John Madden.
Adjustments that should be made to pricing games to make them fairer: Secret X: Add a 3rd SP so that perfect pricing ensures a win. 1/2 Off: Add a 4th set of SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Master Key: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Rat Race: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win.

The following pricing games should be retired because there's no way or no easy way to make them fair: Spelling Bee, Plinko, Punch a Bunch, Pass the Buck, Let em Roll.

The following retired pricing games should be revived: $uper $aver, Give or Keep, Buy or Sell, Hurdles, Bump, Penny Ante, Credit Card, On the Spot, Split Decision, Add em Up, Walk of Fame, Barker's Markers, Back to 72.

Madden won a Super Bowl  as a coach in Super Bowl

And that's also not counting Madden's expertise at advertising, from telling us how Ace is the place with the helpful hardware folks to extolling the benefits of BOOM!, tough actin' Tinactin.  He certainly will be missed.
