It seems, aside from Check Game, the most confusion really seems to happen on Clock Game, no? As some have said, she was likely nervous.

About her not looking at the prize? I don't think that matters too much, really, in Clock Game. If you heard Rich's (or Rod's, or Johnny's) description enough, that is, and you know both prizes were then under $1,000, a random guess is probably just as good.
