Once, they showed a Ray Combs episode of Family Feud - cut out the open but showed the slate.
Wasn't there also one where Ray made a joke about going to commercial and GSN actually *did* it, cutting off the end of the game?
Anyway, I'm going to go against the grain and say GSN *shouldn't* rerun TPIR right now. The existing show is good enough that I want it to continue running as long as possible, and reruns would do one (or more) of three things: fail miserably, split the potential audience of people who like the show but only have time to watch it once a day, and remind those who don't like the changes over the last two (or, for that matter, fifteen) years how much it's "gone downhill". None of which helps the show stay on CBS for as long as possible. Once the show's been cancelled, hopefully far into the future, or else when it's still on but the Barker era is far enough past that even S35 *feels* far gone (say, when it's old enough to be the date used in "Now... or Then") then they should rerun them.
Which actually is something else to consider. How well did TPIR actually do in reruns? Which ones should they use? You can rerun, say, seasons 32-35 and have the show feel current and the pricing be playable, but those are hardly the best years of the run *and* it emphasizes the differences with the current show... or you can take episodes from anywhere from, say, seasons 4 to 25 (more or less) and have a better show overall and less likely to interfere with enjoying the Carey version, but difficult to play along with.
