NPiR 2.0 Pilot Episode
« on: September 20, 2006, 04:13:23 PM »
Hello g-r.net people,

Sign up today for the pilot episode of my similar-but-not-exactly version of Net Price is Right 2.0! We call it Net Price is Right 2.0 because it is based on Jay Lewis' version but with a few of my own twists.

This game existed for a little while, but I need to change a few things in it and we're starting fresh and new!

This is a half-hour show with three PG's my own version of an SCSD, and a spectacular showcases.

If you'd like to partake in our pilot episode, sign up here. If you're one of the contestants to play a PG, you won't win any prizes but you will get listed as a Pilot contestant in the Credits list! So let's play!

Sign-ups end September 22, 2006 @ 4:00pm CST

Optional Question:
When the game goes online on the NPiR 2.0 website, suggest something you'd like to see or have me do. Please suggest!

Okay, all I have just had a very good question as to where to send your replies. Do not send them to my website
e-mail address or I'll never get them. Put all answers in reply to the thread.

I have received tpiradam's bid ($700). The next person called on down may now bid.  :D

*BZZZZZ*. It looks like time is up for jhc2010. So we only have three bidders.

tpiradam - $700
edmojautis - $850
wpghi5 - $1000
jhc2010 - BONG!!!

And the actual retail price of the projector is $999. Oh poor wpghi5. He was over by only one dollar. Oh well, maybe next time. Edmojautis, you are the winner get up on the stage and play a pricing game.

Welcome to the stage, edmojautis. Here's what you can win

Get everything you need for dramatic high definition (HD) televison in one convenient package. Plus, with a giant screen at over 5 feet, your programs, sports and movies will appear almost as large as life. Built-in digital (ATSC) tuner means there's no need for a separate set top box. Included Cable Card Slot provides more options for receiving HD content. Also included is a stand that's exactly the right size for your new TV, so set up couldn't be easier.

A bonus prize worth $2,597!

Edmojautis, you're going to play "Bonus Game"

You will be shown some prizes and a false price. You should tell me whether the real price is higher or lower than the false price. Okay? Okay. Here is the first prize:

A Motorola Digital Cordless Phone... Organize your phone communications and simplify your calls. The feature-packed Motorola MD4260-2 provides great benefits, such as 20 selectable ring tones and a phonebook that can store up to 50 entries. The rechargeable NiMH battery allows for long talk times, and the voicemail indicator keeps you on top of your messages. Includes one base and two handsets.

The false price is: $60. Is the correct price higher or lower than $60. Please give me your guess by Monday at 3:15pm CST

Higher you say...and the price is...

Oh. You don't get anything for that prize.

Now, let's bring out a new prize...

"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," the hard-hitting and emotionally charged second series from the critically acclaimed "Law & Order" franchise, chronicles the compelling cases of the elite Special Victims Unit of the New York City Police Department.

The fake price on the DVD is $30. Is the real price higher or lower?  You have another 24 hours. Good Luck!
