One Right Price: Nice win by Tracee
Money Game: So close there for Deborah
Range Game: Good effort by Tony
Bonkers: Good try for Melanie
Baggy: Dasharoi was smart to bail out with $2,000
Any Number: Nice job by Augustine!
Overall: Okay show today
Dr. Pepper: Not recommended for Skype chats

You know how predictable these ridiculous setups have gotten?

I actually would have won Range Game today.

1 Right Price: That's how you do it! :)
Money Game: Hmm, that was a hard setup and it was quite hard for me. I knew 14 would be right before the game ended in a loss. My next guess would have been 75.
Range Game: Another tough setup, though I'd have stopped it at the $11,350-$11,500 range to be safe.
Bonkers: That was quite a cheap entertainment set. My guess would have been L-H-L-L.
It's in the Bag: Not again with the wrong name! It's a good thing she bailed out while she could.
Any Number: This game was last again? I guess they saved the best for last with a great win.

It was an okay show, but Any Number made up for most of today.

-Lineup: This was begging for Holey or Key. Come on, Adam.
-ORP: Easy. 9/10
-Money: ...Yeah. 22984 from awhile ago looked familiar, but it wasn't - finally something less than the first two digits - even if technically not El Cheapo - was right. 7/10
-Rangey: Flagrant violation of the unwritten setup rules. Come on! 8/10
-SD1: 4/5
-Bonkers: Not too bad, but I never thought that looked like >8000 (and it was only half such), and since 0 isn't used as a last digit for similar reasons to L7, it had to be 9. 8/10
-Baggy: Really hard today. Band-aids were cheap, Absorbine had a random price like Gold Bond. 8/10
-A#: Very good!!! 10/10
-SD2: 4/5
-SC1: Drewcase el semi-fail. 3.5/5
-SC2: Yeah...no. 4/5
-Results: Tony going lower ended up not mattering, since cheapo Beijing showed up with cheapo Britain. 7.5/10
-Drew: Decent job overall today. 8/10

PGs: 50/60
SDs: 8/10
SCs: 15/20
Drew: 8/10

81 --> B-
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Hole in 1 (or 2) could not have been played today because It's in the Bag was played.  However, I do agree Master Key (or any car/SP game) should have taken the place of Money Game.

I don't really have much to say about today's show except the following:

It's In The Bag:  Good thing Da-Sharoi walked with the $2,000 - I knew the Gold Bond powder wasn't going to be in that bag.
Any Number:  I thought for sure Dylan was going to win without lighting anything up in the price of the Beatles t-shirts or the piggy bank, but great win nonetheless! :-)

An okay show overall, IMHO.

1 Right Price: When you know your pricing, you know what to pick.

Money Game: Yes, I have been debating whether to call 14 el cheapo or not. So it isn't. My only guesses for the last two numbers were either 14 or 84.

Range Game: "Damn! That high up?!" I hardly ever recall seeing the price that high up.

Bonkers: When time was up, I immediately said low low low high. It would take me some time to figure that out during play.

In the Bag: I totally would not get where to put the bath cups because I do not use them.

One Bid 6: Oh, I definitely wanted Dylan to say 802. Too bad.

Any Number: I was going to complain why contestants blow an exacta like that. However, I now realize that trying a 5 for the last number is a very good try. If that doesn't work, try 0. You're on your own if those do not work.

Showcases: Sometimes I would call Showcases like that a "Richcase" instead of a Drewcase because Rich had more camera time than Drew (even if Drew had something to do with the Showcase). Just my opinion. The second Showcase was pretty good.

This lineup was a bit underwhelming overall, but it was nice to see Bag show up in the second half again. Now, if they'd only play it 6th (or even 4th would be interesting, for that matter). I think Adam could have been more aggressive than the umpteenth playing of Any Number for the last spot. Definitely think we could've fit in an SP today, especially with the first half being so short with three relatively quick games.

Money: I recognized this car from a playing of Lucky Seven not too long ago.
Range: Just plain unwinnable. It seems like this game is on a long losing streak. It's starting to resemble L7, TTM, etc. with the consistent meanness of the setups. No way this one was realistically won today. Roger would consider this setup MAJOR cheating.
Bag: This was a tougher than usual playing today. I wouldn't have won. The last few bags easily had a few possibilities.
Any #: Great to see a quick win to end the 4-game losing streak. 5 straight losses to end the show definitely would have left a bad taste in my mouth.

SCs: Both were pretty random. Either could have been sexed up easily or have been a Fireball special. Still, I was 99% sure Augustine went over.

The fact that SC1 was such a Drewcase was pretty discouraging. I really thought we were seeing improvement in this department, but that was bad.

However, I thought this was an OK show. Not great, but tolerable. Now let's hope for maybe a 4 or 5 win day tomorrow.

Oh, by the way, what was the cue for the Chevorlet Cobalt before Any Number? I never heard of it before on the show, or I must have not been paying attention to the music cues.

Money Game -- Okay, now THAT was utterly unfair. 14 looks like a reasonable "first two" choice, and once the 22 was revealed it went out the window.

Range Game -- Oh. That could have been won by letting it ride to the top! But seriously, that was EVIL.

Any Number -- I think it's my fault that #125N went through my head with an Exacta possibility.

I only saw Any Number onward, and barely listened to the Showcases.

Most Expensive: That was begging to be won.  :-D

Money Game: I knew the last two digits would be 14 right off the bat.  :-)

Range Game: That was pure evil!  :-x

O.B. 4: A few weeks back, we were treated with the lovely Gwendolyn’s singing, so I was kinda hoping to hear Rachel sing.

Bonkers: Tough loss.

It’s in the Bag: I knew the game was lost when she put the Gold Bond in the $3.59 bag. Good move taking the $2,000.

Any Number: Excellent playing today. We almost had an exacta.

Showcase #1: I thought we were done with the cheesy “Drewcases”.

Showcase #2: Much better.

I guess this was an o.k. show. The lineup was a little disappointing to say the least though. 2 quickies in a row + Range Game is not my idea of an exciting first half. The second half was a slight improvement. It could have been improved if we got Hole in One, and a cash game or small prize game to finish out the show though.

I also hope that this is the last of the cheesy showcases.

I'm not liking the small rotation as of late. It's In the Bag has been getting a buttload of playing time lately, among other games. I like Bag, but there's a lot of great games that are collecting dust backstage.

Just to confirm: The Tony Brown featured on today's show was not me.

In other news, Joe's reminder that "14" is not El Cheapo brought up an interesting question in my head: When was the last time an El Cheapo was correct (or even on the board, for that matter)?
