Banner as a hyperlink
« on: July 10, 2009, 06:51:49 AM »
It is common practice to use the banner as a hyperlink to the index page, I click it out of force of habit, would it be possible to wrap it around an URL tag?

Cheers

I'd imagine it would be possible, and I know a lot of sites do that... but it usually seems kinda' pointless when there's usually another obvious link that leads back to the main page, like this very site has.

It should be possible.  I remember when a certain Site Admin - I won't mention his name (John) - turned the clock into a link for one of his really cool slide shows.  It wouldn't be difficult to do that with the entire banner, I would guess.

Steve's right though.  Why?  There's a link to the index just below the banner.  It's not too far away!
