Drew hosted Clock Game pretty well today. Except for one little inflection at the end of the first prize (which he really should stop doing), he spoke clearly and didn't appear to get nervous/excited like he usually does.

Boring lineup, with the exception of Spelling Bee and Clock Game.

I think that Line 'Em Up had "forced loss" written all over it.  Who ever would've picked back-to-back 1s?

My showcase bids:
FRPJSC--$22,207
Room/car--$30,107
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

1.  IUFB #2:   Astghik, Sheli, and Danny were WAY off the mark on the Hatteras RomanArc Hammock.  Make sure to look at the prize you're bidding on AND to listen to Rich Fields while he's describing the prize.

2.  MOST EXPENSIVE:  Fairly easy today.  #2 looked like the only prize that seemed right.

3.  SCSD #1:  Looks as if the old pointer graphic (the player is in triangle pointing to wheel) is back.

4.  CLOCK GAME:  Brandi played this game very well.

5.  SHOWCASE:  Danny's bid on his Showcase is a  :gotc: because it doesn't cover the price of the Ford Focus SE.  Ricky's bid, on the other hand, seemed reasonable.

MY SHOWCASE BIDS:
#1:  $15,500, DIFF: $5,217
#2:  $27,500, DIFF: $6,342

I wanted to see Bianca win Line 'Em Up, but the game was asking for a loss with two 1's in a row in the car's price. Clock Game was a treat to see because Brandi did a great job as did Drew with the hosting.

Why are there so many grocery products whose prices end in -.99? That makes the games much harder than they should be, especially if they're one dollar in difference.

Lots of tough losses today. Impossible Flip Flop, tricky Pick A Pair, forced loss in Line 'Em Up (double 1s? ugh), tough luck in Spelling Bee...I guess they do what they gotta so they can blow the budget on these sexed up showcases. I hope this doesn't continue all season.

Aside from the one little inflection in his voice during Clock Game (which he really needs to work on), Wayo, I disagree with you. This was the best Drew has hosted Clocky in awhile.

Timings:
Spelling Bee - 5:19
Most Expensive - 3:19
Pick A Pair - 4:13
Flip Flop - 2:51
Line 'em Up - 4:40
Clock Game - 3:47
Total time: 24:09

Giving away prizes is something I am harsh on Drew on, I don't like seeing it, it's nearly cheating

Pick A Pair:  Playings like this are why I think the contestants should just be able to pick a third item and match either price instead of having to pick one of the first two items to match.
Clock Game:  Brandi could write a book on how to play Clock Game.  That was great! :-D

An okay show overall, IMHO.

I just wondering how came the contestant had a lowball bid on room/car showcase?  $22,000 just covers Ford Focus (as well as $21,500 just covers Smart on Wed's Show A) not the room (cost around $8-10K).  They just think room isn't cost too high?
