Despite all of the problems that some people here have had with the show, one thing can't be argued... they know how to put on a holiday-themed show. Wow.

Yay for Charlotte being in the Showcase! It was nice to see a picture of the lovely Queen City on TPIR. :-)

Speaking of the Showcase... well, never mind. I just can't give any logical explanation for those bids. 8-O

I don't want to give anything away so I'll just say that I thought this Halloween show was worth the wait sisnce last year.  To me I think it's the best TPIR I've ever seen, including when Janice, Diane and Holly were there.   I thought the set was awesome, I couldn't believe how big and colorfull and exciting it looked!  We dvr'ed it and the whole family will watch it tonight, but I couldn't wait, and it was definitely worth it!

Outstanding show!  Way to go Drew and The Drew Crew!

Standard suite here:
  • Audience looked more like they should belong on LMAD
  • No use of "Walking" in the beginning
  • Showcase displays were the wrong font
  • Audience area too dimly lit
  • Opening border wrong color
  • Wrong sound suite, where did the buzzers and losing horns go?

Longtime lurker, finally had to join so I could bask in the awesomeness of this...episode?

Did anyone catch the "theme" in Grocery Game?  :-D

LOL'd at the "Coffins" in the Showcase, after all the coffin comparisons.
I apologise in advance.

Carol Wood and company need to submit this show for the Emmys.  Drew's lederhosen aside, Amber's costume literally worked.

Organ piped theme...we need a Christmas version, too!
They can be close at the top, too.

If would have been nice to set up some games for a few easy wins...  The first 5 games were pretty big downers in what had all the makings of an epic show. Nice to see Triple Play back, the costumes were great. I hope the models wearing the game costumes becomes a tradition with new ones every year. What was up with the Showcase bids?! Fun show, just thought it could have been better if they threw some easier setups in.
You people make me sick.  Every last one of you.

Great show today i enjoyed watching it.

I love Drew & Rich Costumes they look great with them on.

I give today show a A.
A Big Rich Fields Drew Carey And Jeff Davis Fan For Ever From Kirsten

Rich Fields Thanks Kirsten. I pick out and supply all of my own clothing. That light gray suit is hard to pair with shirts and ties... but I think the lavender shirt and purple patterned tie pulled it all together.

My Favorite Announcers On The Price Is Right Are Johnny Olson Rod Roddy Rich Fields Jeff Davis.

I Met And Took Two Pictures With Jeff Davis On May 24, 2012 He Is So Nice And Kind In Person.

Rich Fields said this about Drew Carey will always be the first to defend Drew (Carey). He's one of the most genuine, down to earth people in Hollywood that I've ever met. He was the first to come to me and tell me that the show was going in a different direction. He assured me it was not his decision to let me go and I believe him. No one else was open and honest about it, but Drew was. We've continued working together on different projects and we stay in regular touch. We'll be good friends well into the future.

That cauldron in Cliffhangers was a real ringer.  $50?!?  Ouch!  The third in Cliffy is hardly ever more than say...$37.  I got spanked on that.
I apologise in advance.

I have to concur on those showcase bids - I even had friends, who definitely don't want the show on a daily basis, who changed their facebook statuses to reflect those ridiculous bids.

This was definitely the best themed show yet.

Did anyone catch the "theme" in Grocery Game?  :-D

Oh yeah, I certainly did, although I didn't "get" what the bars of soap were about... the eggs, shaving cream, toilet paper, and paper bags, I got. But what's the deal with the soap? Could somebody explain that Halloween 'tradition' to me?

I thought that a couple of the costume choices were on the lame side.

However, the costume that was the most lame was Rich's big wheel outfit.  He looked rediculous rather than humorous.  Does he have no shame?  Does he just do anything the show (or Drew) tells him to do (I guess he has to).   Couldn't they have thought up something better for him.

LOL'd at the "Coffins" in the Showcase, after all the coffin comparisons.

Who knows, that's probably where they got the idea, seeing all of us saying it around here.

Standard suite here:
  • Audience looked more like they should belong on LMAD
  • No use of "Walking" in the beginning
(etc.)

Taking this one by the numbers:
1.  Costumes = element of the Halloween show
2.  Scary remixed music = element of the Halloween show
3.  Showcase displays in "GhoulyCaps" = element of the Halloween show
4.  Dark (and scary) audience area = element of the Halloween show
5.  Orange and black light border = element of the Halloween show
6.  Odd SFX = element of the Halloween show

So, the point is...today's show is the Arbor Day show.

With regards to the cast and their costumes...all I can say is I LOVED Drew as Hans the Yodely Guy!!!  He even had the pickaxe to round off the outfit.  And I busted out laughing when I saw Grocery Game Lanishia behind the counter for...Grocery Game!  Rachel as a Plinko chip took a minute to figure out, but after seeing Lanishia and Amber (?) as Range Game, and Rich "Big Wheel" Fields, it suddenly made sense.

Speaking of Grocery Game, I see mention of a "theme" to the products, but I don't get it?  What was the theme?

And two words:  Showcase.  Bids.  Has it ever happened before that both players made the same bid?  Obviously that's not a good idea since the value of these two Showcases was so obviously different.  And I wonder where she got $4200 to begin with--doesn't matter where you're from, the cross-country trip to North Carolina alone probably cost more than that.

OK...I'm feeling pretty sick from this show. Yes the theme was great, just like April Fool's. It wasn't as graet, but still pretty good. I'll give a +3 bonus for that. But the gameplay left SO MUCH to be desired...OMG...

-Lineup: Yay for double SP, but it was exactly 6 prizes today.
-TP: I wasn't sure on the Camaro myself. Oh well. 8/10
-Rangey: Umm....yeah, OK Greco keep it. Geez. >_> 8/10
-Grocery: Oh boy...what? Do we realize that shows like this should promote the show positively - as in, wins? 8/10
-SD1: 5/5 for the rare occurence
-DP: Umm...no. 7/10
-Cliffy: OK, there are two factors to take into consideration:
--1. She should have guessed at least $35 based on the ARP of the cooler, per the rules that have held the entire Drew era and well before.
--2. The cauldron didn't even look like it was $30, but I'm guessing that mist takes a lot of power to make.
--In conclusion, I'm going to give a 7. Real big shame but I think it was avoidable.
-Plinko: Whew...good timing to have some luck. 9/10
-SD2: 4/5
-SCs: Just a regular-looking FRATs...? And just a HHR... oh well, I guess the Big 3 is enough to recognize this show. Pretty alright. 8/10
-Results: THESE ARE THE WORST BIDS I HAVE SEEN SINCE JANUARY 30TH. I just have no words for this. Were they looking to the same person, based on them both saying $42k at first? Was that guy actually saying $24k (which is pretty knowledgable based on recent FRATs and decent on the HHR)? Even if both got confused from hand signals, why in the WORLD did both just divide by 10?? Why didn't they think and try to give a decent bid on their own based on their knowledge??? Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh. 0/10
-Drew: I was ready to give a 9 based on costume alone...but he didn't do well on losses today. Just an 8.

PGs: 47/60
SDs: 9/10
SCs: 8/20 *record low*
Drew: 8/10

72 + 3 = 75 --> C

Just...so horrible at the end. My goodness.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...
