That "In The Bag" loss was heartbreaking - I totally thought she had it!  But I thought the buns went first and the syrup went where the buns went.  THOSE ARE SOME PRICEY BUNS! - and the candy too now that I think of it.  I would've gotten nothing and Drew would've been making that scrunched up pout at me.  :oldlol:

I guessed right on both cars today - shocking!

That hockey rink was AAAAAAAWESOME!  I wonder if it freezes the water for you or you have to live someplace cold?
That Fury was sweet too.  I'm looking to get a motorcycle but I'm guessing that's out of my pricerange, heh.
I apologise in advance.

Drew hosted Five Price Tags, as well as the end of Lucky $even, the same way he hosted Balance Game yesterday -- like he'd rather have been anywhere else.

Drew also screwed up during It's in the Bag -- he never gave Patricia a chance to quit with $1,000.

Did it bother anyone else to have a biker-themed showcase?

Who the hell would want an antique gum ball machine? A G.E.M.? A solar powered golf cart?

Tough way to go out there in Baggy, but four wins out of six is still pretty good in my book.

One Wrong Price:  That lounger was pretty neat lookin'!
It's In The Bag:  That syrup can't be that expensive!
Lucky Seven:  Pretty nice comeback after losing $3 on the second number in the price of the car.
Showcases:  That hockey rink looked pretty neat, but I don't know if it'll fit in my backyard.

Good show overall, IMHO.

Drew hasn't made a real gameplay mistake in forever, but technically in Baggy he did. 99.9% she goes on of course, but hopefully that is just a minor fluke like even Bob sometimes has. I think Drew realized it when talking about the 4000, anyways.

Great show today, we had a chance at 6 wins but 5PT was played pretty badly and Baggy came up just a bit short.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

There's nothing technical about it, and it wasn't good when Bob did things like that, either.  Regardless of who was involved, if that second bag had been wrong, she'd have had every right to that $1,000.

I noticed that too, but aren't the first two bags considered gimmes anyway? If that's the case then his behavior was warranted.

If she had lost on either of those, I bet we would have had an exception announcement before the next act or at the wheel explaining the error and she would have been awarded $2000.

I doubt that it would change the 'gimme' attitude, though.

Usually the first two bags are  indeed "easy," but the host is still supposed to give the contestant the option to stop after each correctly bagged item, even if they are fairly obvious to most everyone.

Not telling the contestant that she can keep a thousand dollars which making a mistake would cause her to no longer have is not "warranted."

Does anyone ever actually quit at the $1000 mark?

People have, and that's usually after the audience was about to throw things at them for putting the wrong product for the $2,000 bag.

Yes.  In fact, I believe it's happened this season.
