Kitch bids $25,000 on his showcase. We'll be right back.

Ok, I will give 24 hours for anyone to try to play CSS. Those who are the "Stage Player" are asked to not participate. Everyone else, please send me a PM with your bids. In 24 hours, I will post the results of the show and afterwords, post the CSS results.

I should probably clarify on my last post. I only mean the "Stage Player" entity to mean the contestants in the Showcase round. If you were on stage earlier, feel free to place bids. 10 more hours to place a bid.

And we are back.

  TRIPS            CARS
$25,000     $530,000

Let's start with you, wpghi5. You bid $530,000 on your showcase. The display case-sized Porsche, the Focus, and the Volvo. The actual retail price of your showcase is: $74,173. You are over. bonk.

Kitch, if you don't go over, you're a winner. You bid $25,000 on your showcase with trips to 4 various cities with Casinos and some spending money. The actual retail price of your showcase is: $26,250. You win with a difference of only $1,250!

Kitch won $27,510 in cash and prizes today. This is pricefan1991 saying goodbye everyone!

I knew it!  In the history of me playing one of these HYO's that was the worst bid I've ever made in my life!  I don't know what I was thinking bidding on that price!

My first thought upon seeing that was

'Oh no, did he think it was an actual Porsche and not just a die-cast version'

I then looked and felt that it was accurately described as die-cast and felt no clarification was required.

I thought it was the actual Porsche as well, hence my ridiculous bid for CSS

Those napkins done me in on the "Grocery Game".  I thought they were much less.  Shame on me.  I'll do better next time.

No doubt I thought it was the actual Porsche. I never thought it was actually a toy!  Just to clarify the Ford Focus and the Volvo were the real thing is that right?

The others were real.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Winner's totals:

wpghi5: $62,868
Kitch: $27,510
nowhammies11: $9890
Brent115: $1062
Rlotpir1972: $821
sjd93: $522
88JRFAN: $0
catfan2002: $0
pathfinder20: $0

CSS results:

For the first time ever (I don't think this has ever happened on an actual CSS playing), EVERYONE WENT OVER!

catfan2002 went over on both, pathfinder20 did what no one else did and stayed under on the price of the cars, but went over by a lot on the trips. These aren't the sexed-up trips from the show. Stagey and Samhodkin must have thought the Porsche was real and went over by a landslide

If more detailed pricing is requested, I will post that info as needed.

Wipeouts sure have happened in CSS before. They're just extremely rare. :D

(And, for the record...I wouldn't have gone OVER on either SC. In fact, I thought we had a DOB on stage.)

"Change isn't always good. Sometimes changing things is a terrible mistake." - Bob Barker

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

Really? I thought I was being conservative on my showcase.

You had a good price for this PO, it looks that there's no clarification, and you might have to think from it. It was required while taking up this showcase.
