I actually kind of like Most Expensive's new set  They look much more substantial than the former one and the floor logo is a unique touch for the game.  The new $10,000 sign in Half Off looks pretty cool with the square pattern replacing the black, in my opinion.

Great to see a perfect show for the first time in eons.

Today's show was the first, in a very long time, where it actually felt like The Price Is Right I grew up watching. No guests, the games were winnable, Drew was in pretty good form, no special crap and weird prizes, etc. Take note guys, this is how the show should be ALL THE TIME!!!

This has to be the first show since the Season 35 Premiere where 6 cars were offered on one show.

I love the showcases and I think it was good that they offered different cars instead of 2 of the same model. Even though there was a double overbid, the amount of winners didn't make the Double Overbid feel like a downfall for the whole show. I hope they continue with showcases like today's, prizes that fit within an overall theme and made sense... with no celebrities making them look like more than what they actually are.

I LOVE Most Expensive's new set! I love the lettering and the fact that Most Expensive's name is actually a part of the game. I'm glad they kept the numbers cuz I honestly thought they could get rid of them since Drew doesn't mention the prizes by number the way Bob used to. The crew didn't make the set too modern with screens and what not..... Great Job!!!!!

The only issue I had with todays' show was the 1st IUFB. When there are shows with couples, don't have the models come into contestant's row with an IUFB. It was crowded enough and it was hard for Amber to get in and out like she would with just 4 contestants.

The game lineup was not bad. I think they could have switched the prizes for Side By Side and Pick A Pair, but it worked either way.

I really hope this show is a wake up call to the crew and to Drew because this is how the show should be. I hope this wasn't just special because of Valentine's Day.

Six-for-six on the pricing games and then Drew brings up the Showcases. He jinxed the whole thing! That Most Expensive set was so different I thought it was an entirely new pricing game. The Pick-a-Pair (so many similar products) and One Away (2 as the last number) setups looked brutal but the contestants won away! Still the best show of the week!

The evil Mustang is FINALLY won and we get our first perfect show in ages! Awesome! Unfortunately, the DOB in the showcases was a painful way to end an exciting show.

As I write this I haven't seen today's show yet, but I read through the recap.  And I can honestly say, when I saw that the show started off with a win I was actually scrolling down slowly (mice with scroll wheels ROCK) to see if maybe, MAYBE this special show wouldn't be a complete disaster like the last few were.  And with each win I was getting more and more eager, the suspense building, and then finally....PERFECTION!!!

FINGERS:  enjoy the following lyric (set to the song from the JibJab commercial from 2004):
"Take note,
Go vote,
That you want wins, to be seen!"

This, THIS was the way the show needs to be done.  A great lineup (no appearances by Squeeze Play, Pick-a-Number, Money Game, That's Too Much, OR Double Prices), a great prize lineup, and best of all, showcases that didn't have mystery prizes.  I'm actually looking forward to seeing this show after work tonight.  (More so once I realized the new Most Expensive set premiered today!)
Bazinga!

Fantastic show!

I can't believe we hadn't had a perfecto since 2008. Wow. But great to finally have one.

I love Most Expensive's new set - the colors work together, it doesn't look outlandish, over-the-top, or garish like Make Your Mark did, it still has numbers, and it actually has a logo! Great!

The showcases... again, wow. Shame that we had a double overbid, but the perfecto compensated for that. And again... WOW! Four cars! Has there ever been four cars in the showcases before?

To the producers: great show, guys. Take a lesson from this show and do things like this all the time. Bravo!

I find it ironic how the show tries to mix up the prizes and offer "cool" things like over-stuffed trips and impossible to price items to make the show less "predictable." Yet, the same things happen every single time a show airs.

I am not fond of the new Half-Off wall.  But it was certainly a lucky wall today, as it produced a win.  I thought it was pretty odd that the four boxes left in play were all of the third-tier boxes (9-12).

I am not fond of the new Most Expensive set, but my feeling about it may change after a while.  Yes, it is great to see the name Most Expensive actually on the set for the first time.

All Hershey products for the trip to Hershey, PA.  That has to be a Scott set-up.

Finally!  A perfect show!

Roger, when was the last time we had a perfect show with a double overbid?

My showcase bids:
Scion/Jeep--$46,107
VW/Ford--$46,107
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

I really liked the new Most Expensive set, although, when I first saw it, I thought they had incorporated those damn zig-zags into the set. The colors are tasteful, and to reiterate what somebody else said - it's not garish like Make Your Mark.

Did anybody notice if the numbers on the new set light up or not?

As for that new wall for 1/2 Off, it looked kind of odd at first, but it does go well with the game's set.

All Hershey products for the trip to Hershey, PA.  That has to be a Scott set-up.

I actually think Hershey sponsored the entire show. Everybody in the audience received those bags, lots of Hershey-related prizes, and Hershey got a plug in the credits.

A perfecto, a showcase showdown dig, and what looked like fingers to Fingers for some of the setups...this was one of the best shows this season I think.

The showcase rounds...I kind of liked how the two of them were near mirrors of each other. I wished one of the couples won their showcase, but oh well. This was also the first show where I finally did NOT overbid on any showcase in CSS. 40K for the first, 45K for the second.

FINALLY!!!  A PERFECT SHOW!!!

Too bad it ended in a double overbid! :-(

Neat new wall in 1/2 Off & awesome new set for Most Expensive!

Best show not only of the week, but of the season, IMHO.

I agree, I always feel bad when someone gets a $40k car in their showcase and the other contestant gets $20k worth of dreck.
I apologise in advance.
