The Grand Game reveal was kind of awkward.

The Grand Game reveal was kind of awkward.

Yeah I don't know what the heck happened there, watching Rich announce it then all of a sudden it's just there.

Nice win is Coming or Going.

Show was just blah today, especially compared to yesterdays show.

I shouldn't feel like I'm falling asleep in the SCs, even when I'm exhausted. I also shouldn't feel robbed when a car doesn't show up when the script suggested it.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

I guess too much was won yesterday so we had to get back on that losing track. I agree, Blahh show today.
Any Number, Coming or Going, One Right Price, and Cover Up (when played without a strategy) are some of the dullest games. Shell Game is always a joy to watch even when it's lost!

Today's show was terrible compared to yesterday we almost had a skunking and both showcases were cheap.
pepe! It took us all summer to clean out all the skunk stink from seasons 36, 37, 38, 39, and 40!!!

The reveal of Grandy was awkward. Seemed like there was a random edit in there showing Rich reading the copy. Drew never threw it to Rich to reveal the prize, and when they cut back to the game, the Giant Price Tag was already up. Anyone know anything more?

The lineup sucked.  Shell Game last was a nice surprise, but otherwise the lineup sucked. Cover Up is a sucky fourth game.  Likewise, Grandy is a sucky first game.  Using the same six games, I'd have done ORP/Any/Grand/CoG/Cover/Shell.

The first Showcase started off on a nice track, relating to wine. Then, for some reason, it got thrown off track with the Ireland trip relating to beer.  Poor, poor planning there.  If they wanted to do a wine-themed trip showcase, why not have the third prize be a trip to France?

The second Showcase royally sucked.  A megatrip to Disneyland Paris, and...some other crap. Really needed more.  Like a car. Plus, using "hit the road" to throw to the trip to Paris sounded bad.

OVERALL: 2/5. Yesterday was such a great show...today was a letdown. At least CoG was won.

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

Well, the unthinkable happened, Shell Game appeared for a sixth time in one season, something that hasn't been done since Season 27.

During the Act 6 prize descriptions, I thought for sure they were going to play Clock Game--which would have been interesting, nay tricky when one of the prizes is groceries for a year...unless "groceries for a year" is in actuality a $2000 Ralphs gift card.

So according to Rich's copy, "one of life's great pleasures is relaxing with a glass of wine". Perhaps, but to me this is another instance of going beyond a TV-G rating.

With the Grand Game reveal, what I am thinking happened is that the price tag was going up, then they cut to a shot of rich because of drew mentioning rich on the contestants shirt and by the time they got back to the reveal, the tag was already up.
