Punchboard ran a little long. I don't know why people look to the audience when punching the holes out, they don't know what's in them.

Some of today's contestants were somewhat frustrating to watch, but Carlin took the cake and turned me off from the show. Not that her personality actually was bad...but my goodness, SpaceBags did not exist even 2 years ago! :headbang: I hate when big prizes are completely blown like that.

On the other hand, Greco decided that a Honda Accord was too expensive to give away, as well as a bed and jewelry, and the SPs were most definitely not even close to easy enough. This is NOT how you implement budget mode (and we shouldn't even need it today!).

This show just drained me of my Price spirit...oh well, we'll have to try again tomorrow. :)
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

I noticed that they didn't use the "A surfer's most excellent prize..." description for the surfboards and wetsuits today. I guess it does sound a bit dated after 20 or so years.

Wow, a 1 for the third number in Lucky $even. Kinda harsh I'd say.

I liked Daniel's showdown hello today. :)

I like the reveal of the car for Now and Then: "IT'S A New car?" Rich Fields seemed a bit confused that a tin can with wheels qualifies as having an enthusiastic announcement. Drew then took care underline the, ahem, inexpensiveness of it: "You're playing for a $14,000 car -- a $14,000 car."

Are you sure about that?  I remember seeing that infomercial when I was in high school and that was in 2002.  A little research shows that they were introduced in 1994.
Anxiously awaiting another MDS since 2009.

Yes, according to their official website, they've been around since 1993. So there was absolutely no reason for him to insult the intelligence of the contestant like that.

If the contestants that played Pick a number and now or then were smart enough they'd win their games thus making 4 wins. I woulda won pick a number and now or then.  :headbang:
pepe! It took us all summer to clean out all the skunk stink from seasons 36, 37, 38, 39, and 40!!!

Punch A Bunch:  Shoulda taken the $1,000!  Is someone ever going to find the $25,000 slip!?
Lucky Seven:  Evil setup! :oldevil:
Shopping Spree:  Nice job! :-)  @Kitch:  The price of the home theater was $650.  It was revealed, it just wasn't shown close up because they had the scoreboard in the shot too.  *Thanks.  I've amended this thread's recap to include that.*

An okay show overall, IMHO.
