agreed, you cant expect to have a competitive league larger than 16.....and thats pushing it, 12 is ideal.

I think catfan's got the right idea, guys... we always seem to get a ton of people. Plus, we've got a whole three months for people to get in. The key will be to have everyone keep playing throughout the season. If you create a team, please keep track of it the entire season. Nobody likes a static fantasy football player.

My problem with 20 teams is that you run out of competitive players to draft and pick up on waivers.  Trust me, ive been in 20 team leagues before and they stink, because not everyone is going to put in time researching backup running backs and 3rd /4th wide receivers.  Especially in a free league where theres really no incenitve to win other than to say haha I beat you.

Oh wow, I didn't even think about that. I think it'll be interesting, though.

I may have to join this after all...I mean, with 20 teams, you have to go so far down the depth charts that someone might even be forced to draft a Bear or two!

ok what should i do shrink it to ten teams which leaves 2 more spots open or try to go for 20?  I'll let you all decide I'm thinking of cutting it to 10 so we can get going soon 25 days till the first preseason game.

Sweet, a non-craptastic structure!  I'll be sure to try to sign up now.

EDIT:  I'm in!  A few things raise my eyebrows, though...four WR's?  Eight-team playoffs forcing a Week 17 championship?
