CSS Results for 9/21/2010 - Season Premiere Week

49 Players Today

I've actually seen that gold macbook pro in the apple store up here in DC... Talk about insurance costs....

As far as today's results MASSACRE!. 2 DSW's and 2 WSD's and Over's Du Jour. If you score'd today, be happy.  Rome apparently wasn't as much as people may have thought it was and it shows..

Phatboi504 takes the win with the DSW and how often does the LOWEST non-over score cash?  Crinos43 certainly did it.

Kev, TPIRSteven, TruncatedPR ooof...and tpirfan28...REALLY?!  You did tie for the best bid on SC2, but I guess we know who had the better bid on #1.

Wow.

I'll be honest, I almost joined the OVER crowd as well, but I lowered my second bid.
I support The Price is Right.

"Nobody cares about the guest stars." - Roger Dobkowitz

"Change isn't always good. Sometimes changing things is a terrible mistake." - Bob Barker

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

Well, no way I was going to score on that, so it's OK
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

I know conservative bidding is my common thing, but ouch. I also formally propose that a Fireball Special is now $20,000 or less rather than the commonly accepted $15,000 - which is becoming uncommon.

I see that my luck hasn't changed any since last season -- every time I'm in the ballpark, it's an overbid.

Boy oh boy.  At least I wasn't the only one that went over!  Starting the season off right where I left off.

$33,300/$20,100... the first ND of the season means I still haven't lost to Armadillo yet. What an excellent start!

My reaction to SC2

Well, it only took 2 games for my average to go to crap.  Looks like I'm off to a flying start.

$371 over in SC1, $3,853 over in SC2. At least it's not a WSD.
Le Juste Prix, my childhood gameshow, and love TPIR.

HYO: $75,515 (SC 1/2 (loss against a DSW), PG 2/2, getting up on stage 2/8 - 2 FFBC)
CSS: 2 wins, 1 DSW, 2 WSD, $202,298, best bid $118.

Kristin's bids: $29,000/$24,700... a stellar bid on SC1 gets shot down by the showcase that got almost everybody.
