I got confused by a discrepancy with another site's stats, and it turns out my recap's stats were correct. I decided to spruce up the Showcase template anyway.

The only reason I even thought of it was because I lamented Darius' panic at 10 Chances while watching the episode on Pluto. But I decided not to add that to the actual recap.

Debut of the remodeled Ten Chances board. I like it.  :-)  Blue is my favorite color.  And, for those who are interested, the traditional black marker is still being used.

Also, I am a bit glad Francis Eric didn't win his showcase. His behavior was becoming irritating.

10 Chances looked a lot better on TV than it did from the video clip. Still would have preferred a lighter shade of blue, like Door #2.

The 10 Chances board actually looks pretty decent when it's in play. I think Darius who played that game is a better contestant than some people give him credit for. I think he only strayed from the -0 rule because he forgot that he didn't guess 580. Unfortunately, he did come back to 580, but it was a little too late. However, he then made a knowledgeable showcase bid on a tough Mini showcase and managed to walk away a big winner, which was nice to see!

While the setups this show on the whole were better, One Wrong Price was pretty ridiculous.

Other than that, not much to say, except lineupwise: 10 Chances isn't that long, Adam! This was a much better show than many we've seen this week in both the morning and afternoon, though.

Tiimings:
Switch? (3.5)- 2:42
10 Chances (6)- 5:56
Pick A Pair (4.5)- 3:53
Secret X (4.5)- 3:42
One Wrong Price (3.5) - 3:06
Dice Game (4.5) - 4:29
Total time (26.5): 24:48

I like the new 10 chances also particularly because it has 2 of my 4 favorite colors blue and green. And purple and black are my other 2.

We didn't see in the promo video that the buttons light up and chase in the beginning, then go out once you've used the chance. I thought that was pretty cool. My only complaint about the design was that the yellow on green for the reveal price was hard to read.

Ten Chances looks a lot better in action than it did in photos.  I'm still ticked that they got rid of the Dom Casual, though. :-P

Speaking of Ten Chances, Darius played it pretty well...I think he just plain forgot he hadn't guessed $580 yet.  If he hadn't, he might very well have won.

1 Wrong Price was hard.

When Dice Game was lost, Drew just stopped hosting.  You'd think that after three years, he'd have figured out not to do that.

I'm loving the lineups we've seen so far this year.  They're a nice throwback to the Roger days.

I'm Surprised No One Caught This.

1.)  More people are going to take time to read your posts if you don't capitalize every single word in them.

2.)  I hope you realize he said "Tic Tac Toe," not "Tic Tac Dough."

Agreed. A lot of things are looking better on the show than in the videos (10 Chances, Plinko, Drew himself).

I noticed that Darius claimed he was almost going to pick a different better price for both the car in 10 Chances and his Showcase.  ;-)

That was a painful Dice Game loss. I really wanted to see her win.
