We Love You and Miss You Johnny O

 I am looking at today's date on my computer and I can't believe it has been 25 year since we lost our original announcer Johnny Olsen.  Johnny O had the wisdom of a college professor, the carefree spirit of a best friend and the love of a grandfather.  

Johnny, your wisdom, class and presence behind the announcer podium and in our living rooms each day are still sorely missed.  No other TPIR Announcer will ever compare.

Somebody mentioned in chat that Johnny O died within a few days of Yul Brynner and Orson Welles. That must've been the equivalent public mourning of Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett and Billy Mays last year.

It sucks that I never got to hear Johnny O announce... I grew up with Rod and Rich.
