SS Results for 11/4/2010
« on: November 04, 2010, 09:22:17 PM »
ChatRoom is somewhat problematic during CSS (it seems that if everyone leaves chat and just does a PM, it's "better").  Feel free to chat about the show over on my BlogTV location during the show if ya can't get on here..

Now for today's results... A BIG range of scores today.  Considering expensive showcases relatively for both today,  Phatboi504 gets an impressive raw score of 98.15 today and Cash on the Maxum (which some of us still haven't learned yet, tsk tsk tsk...)  PriceFanArmadillo gets the carr.

The Downers:
Wayo WSD's the Maxum, and UniquePerspective blows a $34 DSW/Cash opportunity by overbidding the boat by less than $1k.
Pathfinder/Kev, stop going over dangit!

2x Points Tomorrow...

$31,100/$29,400... are you kidding me? What did I miss? Or what did you see?

^ The Buick is a decent upper 20s car (can be 30s in its higher trims) and both trips were at mansions. As for 2, the red boat is quite a lot along with a 2k surround addition to the spa.

Anyways, WSD/DOB isn't the worst thing in the world.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

...if only I had shaved $1000 from each of my bids...

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

What he said.

(Actually, all I got in chat was 'Hot Tub'.  I just assumed it was a really expensive one.  Today just had that kind of feeling.)

I seem to be developing a streak of having a good bid on one showcase and a garf on the other.  Simply put, the Maxum is something I know how to price, and the Buick is not. :P

I figured the Buick might be expensive, but didn't want to take a chance in case it wasn't. I thought I knew the red Maxum, too... guess not.

Kristin's bids: $35,000/$26,000... she's now won the last four decisions. Is it rally time?
