« on: February 26, 2011, 11:20:16 PM »
I was thinking of doing a windows 7 theme Price is right.  Anyone got any suggestions on what should be in the theme?
That wasn't a showcase, that was an infomercial.

Start up - theme music
Fatal error - zonk
Recycle bin empty - Cliffhangers cue
Loading - perhaps the click-click-click of a Plinko chip? Or the beep-beep-beep of the big wheel?

It's a tad obvious, but the desktop wallpaper should be the wallpaper that they use on TVs and computers.  (Or a still of that nifty new animation they have on Door #4 these days.)

"Critical stop" would probably be a good place for Pathfinder's buzzer.
"Default Beep" would be a good place for the ding.
"Low Battery Alarm" would be a good place for the losing horns (if you're working with a laptop).

And either a Plinko chip icon or a dollar sign would be a good user image (that thing that shows up in the Start menu).

Bazinga!

That's what I've been thinking about.

plinko chip = hourglass?
regular cursor = car

Cursor: Skinny microphone, with the ball (that is, the part spoken in to) as the "point" of the cursor.  Black with white border for the hyperlink hand, and the Clock Game clock as an hourglass?
