Since I'm going through and changing all the Plinko $10k hits in my recaps from WIN to TECH LOSS, I changed this one to TECH LOSS as well for the sake of conformity.

Kitch why are you marking plinko losses even when they get the chip in the 10k slot? It's just like with all chips hitting the center slot except when you have 1, 2, 3, or 4?!
Anyway:
Lucky 7 - That was evil with the 9 at the end!
Switch - Nicely won.
Bullseye - Nice win.
Danger Price - Tough setup and loss how could stemware be 2220?!
Plinko - Same as i already mentioned above.
Any Number - That was terrible she lossed and even more terrible the piggy bank!
pepe! It took us all summer to clean out all the skunk stink from seasons 36, 37, 38, 39, and 40!!!

On Lucky 7 you put both win and loss.

Lucky $even:  Bummer! :-(
Bullseye:  Nice win! :-)
Danger Price:  That sure is some expensive stemware!
Plinko:  How is winning $10,000 a loss, Kitch? ???

Not too bad overall, IMHO.

Reading the recap is always useful

Anyways...Pretty average show, weird to see an Any Number loss with its new board, considering its big winning record  :oldlol:

Probably because the show considers Plinko lost if all 5 chips don't end up in the 10k slot.

I think his "statutory loss" is a good solution.

I thought Plinko had an exception in the official rules on this.

I think with a game like Plinko, where its outcome is the most unpredictable of any pricing game, that the 10K slot hit counted as a win is ok. I mean it has been 28 years. I know definitionists (made-up word) will stick to the rule, but I think that Plinko is the perfect exception to the rule (and the show should make it an exception as well). You know Plinko is unpredictable when there is a better chance of winning Pay The Rent. Today was a win, but, for the record, stat loss is good ground, because that is the way the show treats them.

-Lucky $even has the evil 9 at the end show up again.
-I thought Switch? was hard. But it was won in the end.
-Bullseye was certainly impressive.
-Forget the expensive stemware in Danger Price...how in the world did they find a touchscreen computer so cheap?
-People don't pick "1" in Any Number and for the second time in a month....failure.

What nicely reasonable Showcases.

Where is Hole in One? They definitely need to play this game more often.

Mike did it again in Lucky $even... forced a loss by making all of the numbers high.

Yay!  Danger Price!  As happy as I was to see it, there was no way anybody was gonna win it today.  I thought the touchscreen computer would be $2,220 because... it's a touchscreen.

My showcase bids:
Spain--$26,507
:frbs: --$29,507

We prefer the term "purists".
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

George, referring to Plinko's top prize as "$50,000 simoleans" isn't clever, funny or even unique sounding. It just makes you look like an idiot. Please refrain from doing this.

Other than that, today's show was actually pretty strong. I'm happy we've actually managed to go 3/6 every day this week. There continues to be a definite disparity between car setups and the rest of the games though - both L7 and Any Number just had UGLY prices.

This was honestly one of the better lineups we've seen this season, if only because it was a rare lineup to not feature any 1-prize quickies, and only one quickie in general.

Timings:
Lucky $even (4.5)- 3:26
Switch? (3.5) - 3:09
Bullseye (5) - 4:21
Danger Price (4.5) - 3:58
Plinko (5.5) - 5:14
Any Number (5) - 4:34
Total (28): 24:42

Quick Any Number question.
Was it ever an unwritten rule regarding numbers going in descending order for the Piggy Bank, e.g. 8-6-2 or 7-3-1?

Swear i always thought that, so i always thought it was a good idea to stay away from numbers that descend away from the first digit in the Piggy Bank, but, was obviously not the case today...

it was a rare lineup to not feature any 1-prize quickies, and only one quickie in general.

That's niiiiice. Wow, just noticing that. Thanks.

I thought Plinko had an exception in the official rules on this.

No, this is just a fiction made up by the people of this board. By the show's official definition of "win," Plinko is the only game that hasn't been "won" (straight from the FAQ).

Wow...for a while, it seemed like we were going to get our fourth three-out-of-sixer in a row.  I guess it wasn't to be, though. :(  Still, Plinko gave us a great partial win.

There is no way Danger Price was going to be won.  The danger price was on the prize that looked least likely to have it.

I thought Plinko had an exception in the official rules on this.

No, Plinko has an exception in every set of rules except the official ones.

George, referring to Plinko's top prize as "$50,000 simoleans" isn't clever, funny or even unique sounding. It just makes you look like an idiot. Please refrain from doing this.

I'm all for getting on George's case when he's doing something stupid, but in this case, he wasn't.  He and Drew were following up on something that Melisssa was doing.
