Game Show Marathon & Rich Fields
« on: May 19, 2006, 05:59:18 AM »
It appears that Rich's website has some information about the upcoming Game Show marathon series posted, which can be found here:

http://www.richfields.tv/gsm.html

A nice photo of Rich, Rikki, and the Models is also on his site.

I'm told that you may be able to look forward to quite a few behind the scenes photos from GSM on Rich's site as well as Golden-Road.net in the near future.

OK, this is now officially appointment TV.  I was excited about the lineup before, but having our man Rich as the announcer is just going to be too cool!

I like the set design. It really does look similar, except for there being no opening between the turntable and Door #1. I'm sure we'll like this show.

There wasn't an opening between door #1 and the turntable on the 30th Anniversary Show in Las Vegas either.

I heard there the same doors as the Las Vegas thing. Is it?

It'll be interesting to see LMAD(a non Goodson or Fremantle show) and how it's updated. The rest are pretty much Goodson show, right?

5/31 is TPIR and 6/1 LMAD according to Yahoo TV

I know this is gonna be a dumb question, but are the Pricing games mocked on this show or are they the real ones used on TPiR?

No mocking in "Game Show Marathon." It's all done with care and respect to the classic shows.

(In other words, familiar pricing games.)

...yet they have the current turntable design?  No shag carpet?  Oh well, not like it's a big deal.

True, but at least there is no video wall, no radically different doors, etc..
