CSS Results for 4/26/2011
« on: April 26, 2011, 01:17:28 PM »
Don't ya just love surprise bonanzas?
Base 2x + 3 Games Won + 3 DSW = 8X

Ok, before i talk about the good stuff, i'm not sure what's going on with duplicated bids on both showcases, however, I will remind you, you are NOT obligied to paste your bids in the chat room, but you MUST send me a PM with the bids.  If you choose to disclose your bids before the reveal, you are at risk of being duplicated or upped... soo. moving on

If you went over today, I am just so sorry.  Wayoshi, dang it...
NOW, as far as showcase 2, with a known 10K in flowers, and a truck that easily is 15K and then some, people must have thought that outdoor stuff and Australia was FREE... you all have complete fail bids if you are in black.

I felt pity today so i decided to award the closest players for the Rat Race cashere 1/2 the value unless they nailed it.  3 players had the 1st to right and earned 10K x 8.

Vader becomes i believe the 1st person in history to earn cash and not earn a single point in a day's playing! (no 8x since you didn't break 80 raw)
ANOTHER HISTORIC MOMENT HERE in CSS

Now, the good stuff.

With UP getting the Rat Bonus and winning SC2, he gets a whopping 503K.  Kitch with his DSW, earns close to 600K today and one of the two to pick up 1K points today as well. Thepriceis_j, well.. That tough 2nd spot man, that tough second spot.

...if I had only bid just $500 less on SC1...

...just...$500...

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

Kev, Army, and I should get 5pts each from our three bottom-feeders for those horrific bids on SC2.

Even if you thought the truck was $16K, that's a *minimum* bid of $26K, and you're still missing the trip and other stuff.
They can be close at the top, too.

Thanks, but I don't deserve any points for overshooting the truck by as much as I did.  I honestly had no idea the Colorado was Chevy's cheapo brand and thought it was closer to 30k than 20k.

I am mad at this.

I miss a surprise bonanza and then find out my bid on Showcase 1 yesterday is the ARP of Showcase 1 today? What a life I have.

...I'll take the surprise $80,000 cash, thank you.

Also, for those that are confused: there were FOUR games won and two DSWs.

$20,200/$48,300... a Heels/WSD combo of death on SC1 stops me from cashing in on a golden opportunity at a win. You've got to be kidding me.

$19,441/$46,237 -- I guess I really shouldn't have missed this one.  It looks like Kitch is going to be giving me some serious competition on the leaderboard...
