Nice to see Shell again...I know he won the main prize, but not getting the bonus shouldn't feel like a loss.

Not a bad show. GP game-less, but we got two infrequently played games (Shell Game and One Away).

Cover Up with different think music. Interesting.

Yay! Big Green Egg!

That's maybe the best Drew has hosted Shell Game in a long time. Granted, he did forget about how the bonus was done again, but he did move the shells around and built up the reveal.

What was up with that $45 pie plate? Though it's Shell Game, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

All in all...not bad.

...which is exactly why the bonus needs to go back to a flat $500!

I think his reaction to his blunder shows that he really does want to be doing well. He seemed embarrassed that he forgot when he could've just shrugged it off and went "ah, whatever."

Decent show all around. Joshua was a lot of fun to watch in One Away. And haven't they tried using that cue in Cover Up before? I like it but I also like the normal think music for that game too.

Mistake, most likely. Check Game, Make Your Move, Cover Up, Line em Up, Push Over, and That's Too Much have all "swapped" cues at some point, or have no cue played.

I'll give Drew credit for the build up and for moving the shells around, but forgetting about how the bonus works was a major strike against him for me. Even when the bonus was $500, the contestant still had to guess the correct shell after earning all 4 chips. Only the amount of the bonus has changed, not how it is obtained.

This show felt a bit weird to me, mainly because of certain contestants and their behavior. In particular, Allison, Jessalyn, Andrew (though he seemed pretty nice and genuine), and Joshua (though I did find some of what he did during One Away amusing).

Drew actually made a comment about watching the show regularly.

By the way, why wasn't George used as the third model (as he sometimes is) during Eazy, since there are 3 prizes and 3 buttons to push, instead of being used to unnecessarily "help" model the 3rd item up for bids? That seemed awkward.

The total winnings on today's show or for the Shell Game player doesn't include their $500 perfect bid bonus.

Nice wins on Eazy and shell. Cover Up, Double Prices, One Away, and Switch had tough losses. Double Prices and Switch shouldn't have been lost.

Cover Up:  Bummer! :-(  I didn't even notice that a different cue was used.
Eazy Az 123:  Good thing Jessalyn listened to the audience!
Shell Game:  I figured the pie plate would be the prize that would prevent Andrew from playing for the bonus!  Nice win, though! :-)
One Away:  Rats! :-(

An okay show overall, IMHO.

At the very least, this "bonus" shouldn't even be MENTIONED until all 4 chips are won.  As said a few times in this thread, it essentially makes the game feel like a loss, even when it was won.  I don't mind the rule change, just the way it is talked up before the game even starts.

I'm sure most people would rather have the cash over the prize anyway no matter what is being offered.

-Cover Up always has a feeling of doom when a person has 3 or more numbers right on the first try and the wrong numbers aren't the 1st two. She did the best she could do in that situation.
-The contestant in Eazy az 123 seemed very "screwy" like a cartoon character, luckily she got her wits together and with the help of her friends made the right choice.
-Shell Game was certainly exciting. But as soon as I saw that pie plate I knew that the bonus was out. It was nice to see someone get so close. I thought Drew's flub of the reveal was funny, but the flub of the bonus not.
-Double Prices should've been won I mean it is Vermont. But I guess trip prices are so crazy that I don't know what to wear anymore.
-One Away was kind of easy after the first attempt, but I don't blame him for his choice. he was a good contestant.
-Of all the games to end this show.....they choose Switch? really?  Anyway the television trap strikes again. Oh well.

Today, I saw the most pointless George IUFB EVER. There was no need at all for him to be with that karaoke machine.

I'd think the bonus mention should at least wait until they get to the fourth prize.

The showcases were a hot mess. But what isn't on the show these days.

Average show is average. It was nice to see Shell Game, but Drew pretty much bungled it, although you could see he was apologetic for it after. The reveal came off OK at least. But I'm getting sick of having to see that game set up oddly just to prevent the bonus being won. That's another game they've 'ruined" - that's never something people had to worry about.

Other than that, not a whole lot to say, other than One Away really should have been won today.

Timings:
Cover Up (5) - 4:05
Eazy as 123 (4) - 4:25
Shell Game (6) - 6:33
Double Prices (3) - 2:37
One Away (5) - 5:03
Switch? (3.5) - 2:45
Total (26.5): 25:28
