Rolling along now - quickies were set up well, T2 was fair (I think David realized a -99 motorcycle wouldn't work - or at least, that's what I prefer to believe), and even Plinko's SPs were well done for once! Great last playing for T2 in particular.

Can't help but be a bit disappointed at Gas Money... Jeffrey fell directly into the muscle car trap.

Did anyone notice how pir.com put a clip up of yesterday's $12,000 bonus spinoff showdown, yet they don't choose the bonus spinoff where 1.00 beats 95 for $25k? I enjoyed today's SC2 more than yesterday's for sure as well.

Kitch, knowing the nuts they probably were suggesting lower prices... that stupidly high Bali and David's good bid on 1 let her with little shot anyways.

A very nice show today Alot of pricing game winners today I hope this won't affect budget mode.
It's a shame gas money wasn't won.

-Switch? was pretty easy. Glad it was won.
-Glad we got a Range Game win. Trips are never easy to price.
-Gas Money.....sigh. And once again someone heavily overvalues a Mustang. Only good thing about the game today....good thing it wasn't slotted last again?
-Take Two gets a win. What's going on here? And were is the Race Game cue?
-Any Number was kind of mean. I'm glad she won the car.
-Plinko was nice. I was afraid of another low win in this game, but he got the slot he needed.

When was the last time a contestant wearing a shirt referencing a game was called to Come On Down and then actually played that game? Coincidence WIN.

A Three Way Spinoff and then another spinoff after that. WOW. That girl had an awesome finesse spin. Unfortunately, each time she spun the wheel it was on a number other than 5-1.00-15.

Drew WIN for a Press Your Luck reference during the SCSD. Megan WIN for her "I'm not listening to you" comment.

How did SC2 reach such an outrageous price? That was kind of crazy.

I know I'm being picky, but I couldn't help notice that Drew gave the spay and neuter plug as an afterthought today. I don't recall if he ever forgot to say it, but I hope that dosen't happen.

It was nice to see Take Two today, and a win at that! Too bad that'll probably be its last playing of the season.

Any Number returns. I was wondering about it yesterday.

I think Drew did a good job hosting today. I liked that he used the simple phrase "Do not pick the price of the car" in Gas Money, and then said something similar (but not exactly the same) before the second pick. It reminded me of what Bob used to say when Danger Price was played.  I also liked Drew's "stop messing around" & "get serious" comment during the second showcase showdown.  Pretty Barkeresque to me.

I didn't think the first showcase would be that expensive. I bid $18,000.

What a pleasant surprise these last two shows have been. Maybe the budget isn't as tight this season as things were generally set up nice today. It was unfortunate to see Gas Money blow a quasi-perfect show in typical fashion, but everything else was played well. And someone with a Plinko shirt even got to play Plinko for a change - that was cool to see that surprisingly show up 6th.

One thing that wasn't cool was the way Drew hosted the first two segments of the show. I get the sense whenever he does a prolonged introduction for George Gray like he did today, it's meant in a sarcastic way (or at least it really COMES ACROSS that way) and that's not good at all. I sense that Drew doesn't really have any chemistry at all with George (I may be off base with this) - all their interactions seem forced, which seems to go against what Mike wanted in the first place. Drew also acted like a jerk describing the computer and giving his one-bid instructions before the show. He calmed down later on thankfully and regrouped, but it was really putting me off at the top of the show. It's a good thing we had all those wins to recover.

Timings:
Switch? (3.5)- 2:41
Range Game (4)- 3:44
Gas Money (5.5) - 4:05
Take Two (4.5) - 3:55
Any Number (5)- 4:48
Plinko (5.5)- 4:52
Total (28): 24:05

Is it me or does Jeffrey look a little like Chris Colfer from Glee?  Looked like "Plinko master" David had the Chris Colfer hair going, too.

Yay!  Take Two!

Yay!  SCSD three-way!

Yay!  Press Your Luck reference by Drew!

Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

What a coincidence that the Pl!nko player's shirt involved Pl!nko.

It's a very special day when we have Take Two and a 3-way (heh, 3-way) tie in the second Showcase Showdown.

I missed the first three acts because I was taking a shower, but what I saw was amazing.

Don't remember my showcase bids, but I was off on that FRBS by about $600-700. Yay for me!

Drew was neither particularly good nor particularly bad for most of today's show...but this was by far the best he has ever hosted Any Number.  He should watch the tape of that about 100 times before the next time they play it so he can get an idea of what he did right.

I may have just heard it wrong, but I have a feeling that if I still actively paid attention to what Drew says during the opening, I'd be really ticked at how long he yammered on about George.

I wonder why the Take Two board was placed at such a weird angle today.

Many of the times that a contestant wears a Plinko shirt, they don't get to play Plinko. I love the rare times like today where it actually does happen. :)

BEST CONTESTANT OF THE DAY: David
SHOW GRADE: 3
